WBJEE JECA 2024 Online Counselling will be Started in September 2024. Rank Card has been available on 8th August 2024. The Examination was held on 30th June 2024. The full form for Joint Entrance for admission to Masters of Computer Applications. It is an entrance test conducted by West Bengal for admission to the Masters of Computer Applications (MCA). The successful candidates will be able to get admission to Govt./Private foundations in West Bengal state.
The examination arranging body is WBJEEB, which implies the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board. Private Engineering Colleges, Universities, Government colleges, and some of the institutions in West Bengal offer full-time MCA courses.
The reservation policy of the state government governs the admissions to MCA courses. Age is no bar for aspiring candidates. In 2024, the exam will be conducted on 14th July 2024.

WBJEE JECA 2024 Application Form
- To start with, applicants have to register for the exam by filling up registration details, i.e., Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name and Date of birth, mobile number, and email ID.
- Make sure that all the information entered in the application is correct, as the same cannot be changed or modified later.
- All the information entered must match exactly with the 10th regular school admit cards and mark sheets.
- As per the information, the applicant also has to show the originals to enter the examination hall, during counselling, during admission, and registration with the University.
Uploading of images
- In this, applicants have to upload scanned documents like a recent passport-size photograph, a copy of their signature, and the left thumb impression.

Payment of Examination Fees
- After uploading images, applicants will be automatically directed to the fee-payment step.
- The examination fee of Rs. 500 needs to be paid in cashless mode by ‘Net Banking’/ ‘Debit Card’/ ‘Credit Card’ or in cash using Allahabad Bank e-challan, which will be automatically generated for downloading once the same option is selected.
- The fee, once paid, is not refundable under any circumstances.
Confirmation Page
- After successful payment of the WBJEE JECA application fee, applicants will be directed to the downloading and printing of the ‘Confirmation Page.’
- The application process is not complete until and unless the ‘Confirmation Page’ is generated.
- Applicants are required to take a printout of the Confirmation Page and should preserve the same carefully till the admission process is complete.
- The confirmation page cannot be regenerated at any later stage.
Correction of Application form
- If applicants want to make any corrections, they need to personally visit the board office with all the original documents within the last date of the application.
- The Board’s decision in this regard will be final and binding for the candidate.

Module 1:
- Applicants must have passed a years bachelor’s degree program from a university recognized by UGC
- They should have secured at least 60% marks in Honors/Aggregate(45% for SC/ST Applicants) OR
- Applicants should have a Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) from institutes/ colleges recognized by the All India Institute of Common Entrance Examination (AICTE) with 60% in mathematics at a bachelor’s level.
Module 2:
- They must have a UGC and AICTE-recognized bachelor’s degree of 3 years except for BBA with mathematics at 10+2 or graduate level.
- Obtained 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST/OBA – A/OBC – B Applicants) at graduation level.
Module 3:
- Applicants must have completed graduation or equivalent degree under (10+2+3) pattern in any discipline from a UGC/AICTE recognized University / Institute.
- Applicants must have Mathematics as one of the subjects at each level of education.
- Applicants have to secure 60% marks (45% marks for SC/ST/OBC-A/O>BC-B Applicants) at each level of education.
Module 4:
- Applicants must have obtained a B.Sc. Honours degree under (10+2+3) pattern in any discipline from a UGC recognized University / Institute with a minimum of 60% marks in Hons. / Aggregate (45% marks for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates) along with at least 55% marks in Mathematics.
- They must secure at least 60% marks in Secondary and Higher Secondary or equivalent levels from recognized Boards with at least 60% marks in Mathematics at each level.
- Applicants have to secure 60% marks (45% marks for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B Applicants) at each level of education.
WBJEE JECA 2024 Exam Pattern
JECA question paper is a combination of two papers (Mathematics and aptitude-based tests. The time duration given for this paper will be 3 hours, and this will be a computer-based test.
- The first two hours will be for the first paper, and the last hour will be for the 2nd
- Even if the applicant completes the first paper, he won’t be able to move to the second paper until the 2 hours is completed.
- Paper 1 will be for the subject of Mathematics and will be for 100 marks.
- Applicants have to attempt all 100 questions, and each question will be for 1 mark.
- Paper 2 will be for the Aptitude Test and will be for 50 marks, and each question will be for 1 mark.
- 1/4 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer no matter from which paper it is.
- All questions will be MCQ type and have to be answered online in one hour.

- Calculus: Limit, Continuity, Differentiation; Maxima & minima; Taylor & Maclaurin’s Series: Definite and indefinite integrals; First Ana second order differential equation; Functions of several variables; partial differentiation.
- Probability & Statistics: Permutation, Combination, Probability, Probability distribution, Mean Median, Mode Standard Deviation, Correlation coefficient.

WBJEE JECA 2024 Admit Card
The Admit Cards to the WBJEE JECA examination will be available on the website of WBJEEB. Applicants must ensure that the admit card is not damaged, even by accident.
Applicants with such Admit Cards will not be allowed to appear in the JECA examination. Duplicate admit cards cannot be generated after the examination is completed.
Therefore, applicants are advised to keep their Admit Cards carefully. In case of any difference in the information on the admit card, the applicants must immediately contact the admissions office and get the error rectified before the exam.

WBJEE JECA 2024 Result
WBJEE JECA Results and merit list will be declared on the official website of the exam by WBJEEB. The final result of the exam is released in the form of rank cards containing ranks and the total scores of applicants.
The applicants can download WBJEE JECA rank cards by logging in to the official website. Please note that duplicate rank cards will not be generated at any stage. Therefore, the applicants are always advised to preserve their JECA rank card for all future purposes.
Not all the applicants who clear the JECA examination need to be eligible for the counselling process. To be eligible for counselling the applicant will have to secure the minimum cut-off, which will be declared at the time of the result announcement.
