WBJEE Counselling 2024 (Started), Allotment – Get Schedule Here

WBJEE 2024 Mop-Up Round Seat Allotment has been Released on 9th August 2024. 2nd Round Seat Allotment was Released on 31st July 2024. Online Counseling Registration Last Date has been extended till 21st July 2024. The e-counselling will be decided to be organized in three sessions. To participate in the counselling/admission procedures, they must go through the application and submission of the counselling fee.

The seat will be allotted on account of preferences provided by them.  It is notified that the counselling registration will happen only once. The WBJEEB will declare the counselling dates after the result is made known to the aspirants online.

Here we are providing the official schedule of WBJEE Counselling 2024:

Counselling/Seat Allotment & Admission

The eligible students will be able to fill up the counselling form by online medium, and the details like personal and education are entered in the form.

The aspirant pursuing the JEE 2024 will need to key in application no, roll no, name, and date of birth and the ones pursuing WBJEE 2024 will have to provide application no, roll no, name, and date of birth.

It should be taken care that the details provided while registration must be similar to the ones in the Admit Card.

The credentials of all applicants participating in e-counselling will be verified at Reporting Centers Details of the reporting centres will be given in the Rank Card of the applicants declared eligible for e-counselling.

It will be decided by the board as per the result and marking scheme.

 WBJEE Counseling Procedure

The WBJEE Counseling Process comprises various steps, which are given here:

Registration

After the registration, you will need to download the e-challan for the payment of a fee of RS.500, and the payment can also be made with an e-challan from Allahabad Bank or a debit card. Credit card and net banking.

Choice Filling

At this stage, aspirants are asked to fill in the names of courses as per requirement.

After filling of all preferences, you must secure them. But the critical thing to be remembered is you are not given a chance to make any alterations to the provided names of courses/streams.

Seat Distribution

Seat distribution is selecting aspirants being allotted seats based on marks, number of seats, and choices provided during choice filling.

They need to log in using the details to confirm the seat, and the seat distribution letter is not provided to the students individually.

Document Verification

The aspirants should get their certificates and documents authenticated after paying the fee and going to the centres to report (confirm their admission).

Those concerned with the seat given to them may inform the authorities at the college and get admission.

Seats Under Defense Quota

Institution-wise and course-wise availability of such seats under the Defense Quota are as stated below:

• The WBJEEB will publish a Merit List for Offline Counseling and allotment of seats, and allotment of seats under the Defense Quota is not done through e-counselling.
• A notification with details of e-counselling will be published at www.wbjeeb.in and Najeeb.nic.in.
• All applicants participating in e-counselling will be verified at reporting centres.
• Details of the reporting centres will be given in the Rank Card of the applicants declared eligible for e-counselling.

• Admit Card of WBJEE 2024
• WBJEE Result 2024
• Seat Allotment Letter of WBJEE 2024
• Class XII (or equivalent) standard examination mark sheet
• Class 10 mark sheet
• Receipt of Online Counselling Registration Fee (E-Challan)
• Category Certificate (if applicable)
• PwD Certificate (if applicable)
• Domicile Certificate (if applicable)
• JEE Main 2024 for candidates who have applied for the 10% quota

Allotment of seats under Defense Quota is not done through e-counselling

Signature Image

• The applicant has to sign on white paper with a Black Ink pen.
• The signature must be signed only by the applicant and not by anyone else.
• A signature in capital letters shall not be accepted.
• The signature will be used to put on the Call Letter and wherever necessary.
• If the Applicant’s signature on the answer script at the time of the examination does not match the signature on the Call Letter, the Applicant will be disqualified.
• Dimensions 140 x 60 pixels [preferred]
• The size of the file should be between 10 kb – 20 kb
• Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 20 kb

Photograph Image

• The photograph must be a recent passport-style colour picture.
• Ensure the picture is in colour, taken against a light-colure, preferably white, background.
• Look straight at the camera with a relaxed face.
• If the picture is taken on a sunny day, have the sun behind you, or place yourself in the shade so that you are not squinting and there are no harsh shadows.
• If you must use flash, ensure there’s no “red-eye.”
• If you wear glasses, ensure no reflections and your eyes can be seen.
• Caps, hats, and dark glasses are not acceptable. Religious headwear is allowed, but it must not cover your face. – Dimensions 200 x 230 pixels [preferred]
• The size of the file should be between 20 kb – 50 kb.
