• Candidates must apply through our online application system vbu.ucanapply.com. The online application allows the nominee to provide all the data and also to upload a scanned photograph (4 cm x 3 cm) and signature.
• Specifics of the courses, eligibility criteria, and appropriate information are available at the University website www.visvabharati.ac.in.
• Candidates can make the payment online through any of the online payment methods of Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, Cash Card, Payment through mobiles (A nominal TDR charge would be applicable). Candidates would get DIRECT confirmation of their payments and contributions when they pay through online payment methods as listed.
• In case a candidate doesn’t have access to an online payment method he or she can deposit the required amount in different HDFC branches using a Bank Challan generated online: Details of the Bank printed by Challan.

Application Fee: 

After you have filled up the required information in the Application Form candidates must pay application fees to complete your application procedure.

Application Fee for the first subject

• General EWS & OBC candidates: Rs. 1000/-
• SC, ST & PWD candidates: Rs. 400/-
• Application fee for each additional subject
• General EWS & OBC candidates: Rs. 400/-
• SC, ST & PWD candidates: Rs. 150/-

Visva Bharati M.Ed 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who are looking for admission to the M.Ed. course will have to have obtained at least 50 % marks or similar Grade in the following programs:

B.Ed

1. B.Ed./ B.Sc. B.Ed

B.El.Ed.

1. DElEd with an undergraduate degree ( with 50 % marks in each)
2. Candidates that belong to the reserved category like SC/ST/OBC/PWD must also be eligible for the reservation as per the rules of the central Government.

Visva Bharati M.Ed 2024 Admit Card

The Visva Bharati University will publish the Admit Card for the Admission Test for M.Ed Courses upon completion of the application process.

• The Admit card, as well as the list of eligible candidates, shall be available on the official website of Visva Bharati University.
• The candidates can also download their Visva Bharati Admit Card 2024-25 by visiting the admit card page in the quick links section.
• Applicants must keep their admitting card/hall ticket with them till the completion of the admissions process.

Visva Bharati M.Ed 2024 Merit List

The General Merit List for each one of the teaching method subjects will be prepared. The merit list will also be ready to Subject-wise SC, ST & OBC category applicants. A general merit list will also be willing candidates who are belonging to SC, ST, OBC, are Physically Handicapped, and are exceptional sportspersons on an individual basis.

Visva Bharati M.Ed 2024 Admission Procedure

There shall be an Admission Test for eligible applicants and selection will be made based on merit only which will be determined by the score achieved by applicants out of the maximum 100 marks as follows:

In Career Marking five parts (i.e. Aggregate marks received in 10th, 12th, Graduation, and Post Graduation.) will be evaluated in 50 marks by distributing 10 marks for each.
The medium of the Entrance Test will be English just. However, the medium of examination and the medium of classroom instruction is as per Visva Bharati guidelines.
