The Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University (HNBUMU), Dehradun, is the organizing body of Uttarakhand MBBS and BDS admission, and this admission process started on 21st August 2024.

The applicants should check their eligibility criteria before filling out the application form mentioned below.

• Candidates should be a citizen of India & OCI.
• The age of candidates should be at least 17 as of December 31, 2024.
• The Maximum age is 25 years & 5-year extension is allowed for the Reserve categories.
• The applicants will be able to get admission if they are residents of Uttarakhand.
• Candidates should be qualified in class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology, and English from a board recognized by the Central/State government.
• Candidates should be passed in each of the mentioned individual subjects securing a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (for the unreserved category), 45% (for Physically Handicapped (PH), unreserved), and 40% (for the reserved category, including PH reserved) in them.
• Candidates must have secured the required minimum percentile in the NEET 2018UG examination.

Selection Procedure/ Counseling 2024

The NEET (National Eligibility Entrance Test) UG-scored students can participate in the counselling. Those applicants are shortlisted in the merit list only. They will be called out for the counselling procedure and must carry the required document for verification.

All the seats will be allotted to the respective candidates only after the verification of the documents. As per the rank obtained, options filled, and seat availability, the seats will be allotted to the candidates.

NEET Candidates can download the seat allotment letter, which is Allotted by Rank secured in the NEET examination. And report to the allotted college with all necessary documents after the allotment of seats.
