UP MBBS/BDS Admission 2024 3rd Round Seat Allotment has been Released on 18th October 2024. The 3rd Round State Merit List was Released on 10th October 2024. The 2nd Round Allotment Result was released on 28th September 2024. 2nd Round Merit List has been Released on 20th September 2024. 2nd Round Registration started on 14th September 2024. The Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Lucknow, will manage the Uttar Pradesh MBBS and BDS admission for the candidates and those applicants are aspiring to get admission to the various medical and dental colleges of the Uttar Pradesh state to complete their MBBS and BDS programs.

The applicants should have the eligibility criteria to get admission in the Uttar Pradesh MBBS and BDS, and the eligibility criteria have been mentioned below.

• Only the NEET-scored applicants can get admission to UP MBBS.
• To fill out an application form, candidates have to register themselves.
• Applicants should be residents of Uttar Pradesh State.
• Candidates should belong to the Indian Citizenship
• The age of candidates should be at least 17 as of December 31, 2024.
• The Maximum age is 25 years & 5-year extension is allowed for the Reserve categories.
• The candidates should be qualified in Class 10 and Class 12 from the state and do not need to be state residents.
• The candidates must pass in English, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology in Class 12 or equivalent examination.
• The candidates must score at least 50% in Chemistry, Physics, and Biology in aggregate in Class 12 or equivalent examination if belonging to the unreserved category.
• For candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC category, scoring at least 40% is mandatory, whereas PH candidates belonging to the unreserved category should score a minimum of 45%.

Selection Procedure/Counseling 2024

Uttar Pradesh NEET Counseling 2024 has been started through Online Mode. The NEET (National Eligibility Entrance Test) UG-scored students can participate in the counselling.

Those applicants are shortlisted in the merit list as per their marks; only they will be called out for the counselling procedure. Candidates should be present at the counselling centre with the required verification documents.

Once the Candidates qualify for the NEET entrance examination, the Counseling Process will be carried out by the MCC and DGHS, to provide Admission into 15% of AIQ Seats and 85% of State Quota seats.
