UGC NET Exam Pattern

The UGC NET examination will be conducted online in two sessions: paper one and paper 2. Students should have to prefer the exam pattern for better preparation for examinations, and the exam pattern has provided below.

• Mode of Exam: It will conduct in Online (Computer Based Test) mode.
• Session: The exam will take two sessions (Paper 1 & Paper 2).
• The medium of the Exam: The question booklet will be in both English & Hindi language.
• Duration: The time duration for paper one will be 1 hour, while for paper 2, it will be 2 hours.
• Type of Questions: Objective-type questions will be asked in the exam. Candidates will have to select the correct response from the given options.
• Number of Questions: Paper 1 will comprise 50 questions, while paper 2 with 100 questions. All questions are compulsory.
• Marking Scheme:2 marks will be awarded for each correct response for both papers 1 & 2.
• Negative Marking: There is no negative marking in the exam.
