Step 3 – UCEED 2025 Post-seat Allotment Options

Allotment of Second/Third Choice Institute:
For the allotment of the second or third choice of the institute, candidates have two options: they can either ACCEPT (FREEZE) the seat, confirming their current allocation and not being considered for any further rounds, or ACCEPT with the OPTION for UPWARD MOVEMENT (‘float’), allowing them to be considered for a higher preference seat in future rounds if available.
- Accepting the Seat: The candidate will not be considered for any further rounds as their current allocation is confirmed.
- Opting for “FLOAT”: The candidate may be considered for a higher preference seat in future rounds, if available. They can either accept or decline this seat:
- If accepted: The previous seat will be automatically canceled.
