TNEA 2024 3rd Round Seat Allotment has been Released on 28th August 2024. General Counselling has been Started from 29th July 2024. Online Counselling for General Special Reservation Categories has been Started on 25th July 2024. The Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions is the complete form of TNEA, and Anna University conducts it. Anna University is a popularly known university in Tamil Nadu. This university has established the TNEA to provide candidates with various engineering, medical, and allied science programs.
The various engineering colleges are affiliated with Anna University for candidates. Those applicants seeking Admission to these colleges can fill out the application form online. No offline mode is available for candidates.

TNEA 2024 Counselling
The TNEA 2024 Counselling Registration has been started on 22nd July 2024. and those candidates are shortlisted in the merit list by the admission committee; only they can attend the counselling procedure at the venue. All selected candidates must compulsorily attend the counselling procedure with the necessary documents. At the Chennai Campus, counselling will be held for candidates.
The seat allotment will be done in the counselling session based on seat availability, document verification, and merit list. Candidates will get the call letter for counselling through online mode.

TNEA 2024 Counselling Call letter
The TNEA Counselling call letter will be offered by the admission authority to the shortlisted candidates on their Email ID. The candidates have to download the call letter on which the date, time, and address of counselling will be mentioned for candidates. Applicants have to take the printout of the call letter for future proof.
Candidates must carry the call letter at the counselling centre and be present at the venue.
Counselling Steps
The candidates have to check the following steps mentioned below. The counselling will be conducted through offline mode. Candidates must attend the counselling in person or authorise their parents or guardians to attend it in case of unforeseen circumstances.
Payment of TNEA Counselling fee
Candidates must pay the counselling fee at the bank counter due to reporting at the counselling centre. The candidates have to submit a call letter to pay the fee. On the bank counter, the fee will be remittance. Students will receive the bank’s fee receipt at the counselling session. Candidates should do the receipt or challan photocopy for future use.
Those students who have not received the call letter; must come with their original documents for verification two hours before the counselling session begins.

Verification of Documents at Counselling
Candidates must carry all the required documents at the counselling centre after paying the fee for document verification.
- Candidates should arrange their certificates for verification; only one person can accompany the candidates to the counselling centre.
- All verification documents should be original; candidates can go for the following procedure.
- After the successful verification, the candidates will be selected for Admission to Anna University.
- Those who will not be eligible or find any discrepancies; in the candidates will be rejected at the counselling centre.

TNEA Seat Allotment
According to the ranking of candidates, the seat will be available after shortlisting, and in the counselling session, the candidates have to select 5-10 college choices branch-wise in the required field. Candidates must make three choices, of which they are allotted one subject to availability.
The students must collect the allotment order from the allotment order section after the seat allotment; on that allotment order, candidates must verify the course and colleges. Before the last enrolment date, candidates must take the allotment order to the respective college.
The Admission will be under seven categories: OC, BC, BCM (BC Muslim), MBC & DNC, SC, SCA, and ST reservation. The Government of Tamil Nadu has made these rules, which candidates should follow.
