TIFR GS 2026 Application Form

Tata Institute of Fundamental Research 2026 Application Form will be Released soon. Eligible candidates can fill the TIFR application form on the official website of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research.

Candidates should following the steps given below to fill the TIFR 2026 application form. Below are provided steps to fill the application such as Register for TIFR, Fill TIFR Application Form, and Pay TIFR Application Fee, etc.

Candidates can apply for TIFR 2026 in online mode as per the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Register for TIFR

Candidates first need to register themselves on the official website of TIFR. For the same, candidates must click the Apply Online button under the Application tab. Details that candidates need to fill in the TIFR registration form include name, email address, date of birth, gender, name of the program for which application needs to be filled, preferred subject, and preferred test centre.

Once all details are filled in, candidates need to click on the Register button. On clicking the button, an activation link will be sent on the candidate’s registered email ID. Candidates need to click on that link to access the complete application form.

Step 2: Fill out the TIFR Application Form

Some of the details that candidates can fill in TIFR 2026 application form are:

• Personal details such as name, parents’ names, date of birth, etc
• Academic details such as the name of the institution last attended, subjects studied, marks scored, percentage secured, etc
• A passport-size photograph (JPG file of less than 100 kb in size)

Note: Candidates can appear for the TIFR entrance exam for multiple subjects if the timings do not clash. However, to give the test for more than one subject candidates need to fill the separate application form. Also, the application fee needs to be paid separately.

Step 3: Pay the TIFR Application Fee

Candidates can pay TIFR 2026 application fee online (credit card/ debit card/ net banking) or offline (DD) model. DD should be drawn on State Bank of India in favour of “Tata Institute of Fundamental Research” payable at Mumbai and mailed at the below address:

Step 4: Submit the TIFR Application Form

Candidates can submit their applications by clicking on the Submit button. After submitting the form, candidates can either take a print or save their form as a PDF file on their system. However, note that candidates who have applied in online mode but paid application in an offline mode need to send the DD (by writing their reference code, name and telephone number on the back) on the address mentioned above in step 1.

Candidates applying in offline mode can send their applications on the address mentioned above in step 1 along with the DD and two passport size photographs (one pasted and another stapled on the form).

TIFR GS 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Authority will issue the TIFR 2026 application form for candidates eligible to be admitted into different courses through the TIFR 2026 exam. TIFR GS 2026 Application Process 

The TIFR 2026 application form will be available online on the website of the University. TIFR GS 2026 application form can apply online and submit the hard copy of the application form along with the required documents to the college office in person. Payment can be done through online mode.

• Visit the website of the University and Click on the “Apply Online for Admission” tab.
• Read all the instructions carefully and click on the “I have read the instructions and ready to apply” button.
• Now, proceed to fill up the application form.
• Enter all the details carefully and upload the mandatory documents.
• Pay the application fee of INR 800 (INR 200 for SC/ST/OBC) via Net Banking or e-Challan of HDFC Bank.
• Submit the application form.
• Send the hard copy of the application form to the university office on working days during working hours.
