The Thiagarajar College of Engineering was established in the year of 1957, it’s a Government-aided autonomous college & which is approved by All India Council of Technical Education New Delhi (AICTE New Delhi).

Nationality: Indian National candidates are eligible to apply. Aspirants who want to apply needs to have the Domicile certificate of Tamil Nadu. Candidates can apply who reside in different states & pass the HSC Exam from the state of Tamil Nadu. At the time of verification submit the Nativity certificate. 

Qualification: For B. Tech, B. E. course: candidates will need to pass HSC class (12th exam) from any recognized board of the state. Selection will be done on the basis of the TNEA entrance exam (counseling).

For B. Arch course: candidates will need to pass HSC class (12th exam) from any recognized board with mandatory Mathematics subjects. At the time of admission submit the valid scorecard of the NATA entrance exam.

For M. Tech, M. E., course: Applier must pass the B. Tech degree or Graduate exam in the relevant field from a recognized university/Institution. Applier needs to have a valid scorecard of the TANCET entrance exam.

For MCA course: Applier need to pass the Graduation fall under the pattern of 10 + 2 + 3 system from recognized university/institution with the mandatory Mathematics Subjects.

Minimum Percentage: for General category candidate- more than 50 % marks, OBC category applicants- minimum 45 % marks and MBC/DNC/SC/ST & SCA category- more than 40 % marks. 

Age criteria: applier age should not be less than eighteen years of age and the upper age limit is twenty-five years of age.
