Students participating in the B.tech admission process at Thapar University need to satisfy the eligibility requirement otherwise they will not get admission. Anyone finding admission into B.tech must be a native of India then only they will be worth considering for the admission.

Those looking for admission must be born on 1 October 1994. Those from the Reserved class may apply for admission not bearing the date of birth as mentioned above They will be given 5 years of age extension for getting into University.

They need to be securing 60% of the subjects including Physics, Mathematics and any one of the mentioned subjects Chemistry, Biology, Technical Vocational, and Biotechnology.

For getting admission into B.tech, candidates must be bearing 20% marks in the JEE Main 2023 Entrance Exam.
