TGCET 2025 Application Form will be Released in December 2024. The Telangana Gurukul Common Entrance Test is also known as TGCET. The TGCET 2025 is conducted every year for eligible applicants with the motive of providing admission to the applicants in different institutions located in the state of Telangana.

Applicants who are interested in getting admission in class V offered in different schools located in Telangana need to appear for the admission procedure organized by the official authority of the government of Telangana.

The official authority will organize the common entrance exam for the eligible applicants to provide admission to the qualified ones in the TREIS, TSWREIS, TTWREIS, and MJPTBCWREIS.

TGCET 2025 Exam Dates

The important information related to the important events and dates is mentioned below for the reference of the applicants:

TGCET 2025 Application Form

TGCET 2025 Application Form will be released in December 2024. 

• To appear for the admission procedure applicants need to fill out and submit the application form which will be available on the university’s official website.
• The applicants need to register themselves and download the application form from the website.
• After that, with the help of the educational documents, applicants are instructed to fill out the application form by entering the necessary details in it as needed.
• All the details in the form should be filed properly, and then applicants need to check the details.
• And then, applicants are requested to take a printout of the duly filled application form and submit the same.

Application Fee

The important information related to the application fee is mentioned below for the reference of the applicants:

• For completing the application process, the payment of the application fee is an important part of the applicants who want to appear for the entrance exam.
• Applicants who want to appear for the entrance exam are instructed to pay Rs 50/- as the application fee for the entrance exam.
• So applicants are instructed to pay the application fee in online mode only by debit card, credit card, or net banking.

TGCET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The important information related to the eligibility criteria is mentioned below for the reference of the applicants:

Educational Qualification:

• Class VI qualified applicants from any government school or any other recognized school situated in Telangana are eligible to appear for the entrance exam.

Age criteria:

• The applicants should be above the age of 9 years at the time of admission as born on 1^st September 2025.
• However, the applicants who are below the age of 11 years as of 31^st August 2025 are only eligible to apply if they belong to the general.
• And that of reserved category applicants should be below the age of 13 years at the time of admission.

Relaxation:

• The applicants who belong to reserved categories like SC or ST have 2 years of relaxation in the upper age limit.

The annual income of the parents of the applicants:

• Those applicants who reside in rural areas should have an annual income of the family lesser than Rs 1,50,000 per annum from all sources.
• And that the annual income of the parents of the applicants who reside in urban areas should be less than Rs 2,00,000 per annum from all sources.

TGCET 2025 Paper Pattern 

The important information related to the paper pattern is mentioned below for the reference of the applicants:

• The entrance exam will contain 100 questions in total for 100 marks for the applicants.
• Wherein each correct response in the exam will get one mark.

The official authority will set the question paper of the entrance exam in below mentioned subjects:

• Telugu (25 questions of 25 marks)
• English (25 questions of 25 marks)
• Mathematics (25 questions of 25 marks)
• Environmental science (25 questions of 25 marks)
• Multiple choice questions will be asked in the entrance exam by the official authority.
• The official authority will provide two hours for the applicants to solve the paper.
• The details related to the syllabus will be made available online mode on the official website of the university by the official authority for the reference of the applicants.

TGCET 2025 Admit Card

In online mode, the official authority will update the admit cards of the applicants. To appear for the entrance exam, applicants are instructed to download the admit card from the university’s official website using the login credentials generated at the time of registration.

However, once the process of application form is completed, the admit card will be updated on the official website of the university.

Applicants who want to appear for the entrance exam are instructed to carry the admit card along with them as The must admit card should be taken in some copies, which should be kept safely for future reference.

TGCET 2025 Result 

Once the entrance exam is completed the applicants will be able to check the results on the official website of the university with the help of the roll number and date of birth. The results will be announced by the Government of Telangana.

The official authority will conduct a counselling session for the applicants who will score well in the entrance exam. So applicants need to go through the official website of the university and get all the details of the further admission procedure.

TGCET 2025 Selection Procedure 

Based on the marks secured by the applicants in the entrance exam, the official authority will prepare a merit list. The merit list will contain the names of the applicants who have achieved higher marks in the TGCET 2025 exam.

However, applicants who found their names on the merit list are instructed to appear for the counselling session conducted by the authority itself. In the counselling session, the applicants will have to submit the necessary documents for verification.

Based on the performance of the applicants in the entrance exam and counselling session, the official authority will provide admission to the applicants.
