TANCET M.Arch 2024: Registration (Extended), Dates, Eligibility, Admission Procedure

TANCET M.Arch 2024 Last Date has been Extended till 12th February 2024. The Examination will be held on 10th March 2024. The Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) is the state-level entrance examination managed through Anna University, Chennai on behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu. Applicants will get admission to M.B.A., M.C.A., and M.E. / M.Tech. / M.Arch./ M.Plan. Degree Programmes through qualifying for the TANCET examination.

TANCET M.Arch 2024 Counseling will be done through TANCA. As per marks scored in the TANCET examination, applicants will get admission to various Government, Government Aided Colleges, and Self-financing Colleges (Engineering, Arts & Science Colleges, including stand-alone Institutions).

TANCET M.Arch 2024 Application Form

On the official website of Anna University, Chennai TANCET M.Arch 2024 Application Form was released on 10th January 2024. Those applicants wishing to get admission in the M.Arch program from the various Government, Government Aided Colleges, and Self-financing Colleges of Anna University; can fill out the application form through the following steps.

• Applicants must have to visit the official webpage of Anna University, TANCET.
• They have to click the ‘Register’ link on the TANCET page, enter their required details, and submit it.
• To submit the application form, the TANCET secret key will be issued to the candidates on their mobile numbers.
• Applicants have to fill out the application form with all the required details using their login id and before clicking on submission, they have to confirm the details.
• Then, pay the application fee online as per concession under SC/ST/SCA categories.
• They must click the ‘Status Check’ link to get their application status after submission.
• Applicants need to print the application form by clicking on the print button, and it will display in PDF format.
• They must take a printout of the generated application for further reference only.

Candidates have to pay 600/- (300/- for SC /SCA /ST candidates) towards the entrance test fee and it can be filled out online mode only.

TANCET M.Arch Eligibility Criteria

Those applicants will fill out the application form of TANCET; they need to check their eligibility before. The applicants should be qualified from a recognized university with a bachelor’s degree and have attained a minimum of 50 % (45% for reserved category students) in the qualifying degree examination.

• B.E/B.Tech./B.Arch. OR
• B.Pharm./ B.Sc. (Agri. / Forestry / Horticulture /Fishery) degree program OR
• Master’s Degree in the relevant branch of Science / Arts, which is prescribed
• 10+2+ AMIE* OR
• 10+3 years’ diploma (awarded by the state Board of Technical Education) + AMIE*

TANCET M.Arch 2024 Exam Pattern

Those applicants are going to apply in the TANCET M.Arch 2024 examination; they must have to prefer the exam pattern for better preparation for the examination. 

TANCET M.Arch 2024 Syllabus

The TANCET M.Arch 2024 examination will have the questions asked from these sections. 

• Part I of the question paper has 20 questions based on Engineering Mathematics. This part of the paper is the same for all 4 courses.
• Part II of the paper consists of 35 questions based on Basic Engineering and Sciences. Similar to Part I, this part is also the same across question papers of all 4 courses.
• The final part of Part III of the question paper has 60 questions. The questions in this part will be based on the subject chosen by the candidate. There are 23 subjects available for this section, from which a candidate can choose anyone.
• All the questions are multiple-choice questions carrying 1 mark each, with a negative 1/3 mark for an incorrect answer. The time given is 2 hours.

TANCET M.Arch 2024 Admit Card 

TANCET M.Arch 2024 Admit Card will be available on the official site for those who have successfully submitted their application form.

Applicants can download the admit card by submitting their login credentials. Candidates should carry the required documents, such as identity proof and required items, along with an admitting card. Applicants without admit cards will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.

TANCET M.Arch 2024 Result

TANCET M.Arch 2024 Results will be available on the official site. Candidates who have given the examination can check their results online by submitting their roll number in the required field.

After submitting the details, the result will appear to the candidates and they can download and also take the printout of it for future use. 

TANCET M.Arch 2024 Counseling

TANCET M.Arch 2024 Rank List/Merit will be available on the official site. After a few days of the result declaration, the counselling procedure will be conducted through the University. The applicants are shortlisted in the merit list as per their marks scored in the examination, and they will be called out for the counselling session.

Candidates must be present at the counselling centre along with the required documents. After document verification, seat availability, and qualified marks, the seats will be allotted to the candidates.

Candidates must report to the allotted college with an admission fee after seat allotment.
