• The age for an aspirant must be between 17 to 25 years as of 31^st December 2025 for admission into B. V. Sc. & A. H course.
• For the rest of the undergraduate courses, an applicant’s age should be between 16 to 22 years as of 31^st December 2025.
• There is no upper age limit for admission to Postgraduate courses.

Note: A relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit will be given to candidates belonging to OBC, ST, and ST categories.

Nativity:

The candidate should be a native of Uttar Pradesh. The candidate will be considered as a native of Uttar Pradesh if he/she fulfils the nativity criteria given below:

• The applicant who has passed the qualifying exam from any institute from Uttar Pradesh or has been living in Uttar Pradesh for the last 5 years will be considered eligible.
• Indian applicants whose father is a native of Uttar Pradesh having a residential address in UP can also apply.
• Indian applicant whose father is not a native of Uttar Pradesh but has been living in Uttar Pradesh after obtaining a residential address for the last 5 years is also eligible.
• Wards of state or central government employees working in UP can also apply.
• NRI candidates whose ancestors were from UP can also apply for the Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology Admission 2025.
