• All the candidates are requested to submit their application forms online mode only. Candidates need to visit the official website for accessing the online application forms. The application forms will be published separately for each course.

• As per the latest sources, the application forms will be submitted for B. Tech in November 2022. 
• All the candidates can apply for several UG and PG courses till the midweek of June 2023.

 B.Tech Course

• Educational Qualification: The students who wish to apply for this course need to have completed their class 12th or intermediate with at least 60% marks from a recognized board or university. 
• Subjects Studied: The students must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in a regular mode. 
• All those students who have attempted PCM, English, and Aptitude in SRMJEEE for the Undergraduate course are also eligible for getting admission to the course of B. Tech. 
• Appearing Candidates: If you are in the final year of the qualifying exam, you are also eligible to apply for this course. 
• Direct Admission: It is good news for students looking for direct admission. All those candidates who have secured top ranks in certain central and state boards in India, have topped in IIT JEE up to the rank of 10000 or are sports persons are eligible for direct admission by the University. It is a way of appreciation for all those students. 

MBA Course

• Educational Qualification: Students who possess a bachelor degree’ in any discipline from a recognized board or university with at least 60% marks in aggregate are eligible to apply for this course. 
• Selection Criteria: The students are selected according to their performance in the SRMJEEM entrance exam which is conducted by the University. 

SRM University 2023 Admission Criteria

The admission criteria for taking admission into different courses are different. After the students who enrolled for the admission meet the required eligibility conditions will be called for e-counselling organized by the University. Note that the university is going to organize the entrance exams such as SRMJEEE and SRMJEEM for courses such as B. Tech and MBA. 

If you are one of those candidates who have appeared in several national-level entrance exams are also eligible to apply for admission. The entrances are JEE Main, NEET, MAT, XAT, CAT, and TANCET and the candidates will be admitted according to their performance in these national-level exams. 

Once the university confirms the eligibility, the verification of the documents will also be required which includes their class 10th mark sheet, their degree, Transfer certificate, and ID proof. Finally, the provisional allotment letter which is also known as PAL will be issued to the candidates according to their eligibility, interview, and performance in Group Discussion.

• Duration of the Exam: The entrance exam will be conducted for a total of 2 hours and 30 minutes. No extra time will be allotted to the candidates under any circumstances.

• Medium of the Exam: The question paper will be in English only. 
• Marking pattern: Candidates must note that 3 marks will be allotted for every correct answer.
