• SC/ST applicants must offer a category certificate from a competent authority. This certificate must be up-to-date.
• SC/ST contenders from Odisha remaining out of the state have to produce SC/ST certificates from the competent authority of Odisha State throughout the counselling for SAAT 2024.
• As per SAAT Reservation Criteria, SC / ST persons who travelled from their state of origin to another country to seek education, employment, etc., will be believed to be SC/ ST of the land of their background and will be entitled to the reservation.
• The University will make a distinct Merit List for SAAT category-wise. If the seats remain empty for a class after counselling and no entitled contender in the earmarked group is obtainable, positions will be filled up by the General category contenders.
• OBC applicants are only entitled to mark relaxation.
• A contender only with 40% disabilities in agreement with section 39 of the Persons with Incapacities Act, 1995 will be considered under the Physically Handicapped Group meant for admittance to any of the available courses existing at Siksha O Anusandhan University.
• Reservation for women contenders is for entrance into all programs through SAAT 2024 except MBBS and BDS courses.
