RMCAAT 2024 Application Form will be Started Soon. RMCAAT (Rajasthan Master of Computer Application Admission Test) is a state-level exam that is conducted by the (Rajasthan Technical University), Kota. This examination is for the PG courses of computer applications.

The examination is scheduled for the month of May every year. The applicants who have completed their graduation and wanted to build their careers in computer applications select this type of exam.

Applicants who have completed their graduation can get direct admissions in MCA courses depending on the seat availability criteria by RTU in the institutes and colleges in Rajasthan.

the application process for the RMCAAT starts from April 2024 each year, and the exams get scheduled in May 2024. Below is the information about a few Important Events and dates in regards to the RMCAAT examination 2024.

Start of the Application Process – April 2024

RMCAAT 2024 Application Form 

Applicants need to follow step by step process for RMCAAT 2024 application process as given below:

• RMCAAT 2024 Application Form will be Started in the Last week of May 2024.
• Applicants need to go to the official website to access the Application Form
• On the home page Click on “RMCAAT 2024 Registration”. The words may be differently written on the website.
• The applicant needs to enter the full name, DOB, Fathers name, etc in the RMCAAT 2024 Application Form.
• Generate the challan and make the fee payment.
• Enter the 16-digit Token Number given on the payment received to activate the Application Form.
• Provide necessary details such as academic qualification, category, domicile etc.
• Upload necessary documents and verify the information filled.
• Submit the form after ensuring that no further changes have to be made.
• Take a print out of the completed form.

RMCAAT Application Fee 

• The applicant needs to pay a total amount of Rs.2000 as a registration fee for RMCAAT 2024.
• Rupees 2000 is divided into two parts Rs 1000/- is nonrefundable registration charge and Rs 1000/- is the admission fee.
• The candidate will have to pay the requisite sum via a challan that will be generated upon successful registration
• The applicant will have to contact any authorized e-Mitracentre for fee payment.
• Once the complete payment is done a receipt will be generated with a 16 digit token number.

RMCAAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The detailed RMCAAT 2024 eligibility criteria are as per below:

Note: The applicant should be more than 20 years of age to apply for the exam.

1^st year MCA

• Applicants should have taken Mathematics as a subject in Class XII or graduation.
• Applicants must have pursued a graduate degree of minimum three years duration in any subject from a recognized university
• Applicants must have achieved the minimum 50% of total marks & 45% for the reserved category
• Applicants who are in their final graduation year with a valid NIMCET 2024 can also apply.
• Applicants who are applying by NIMCET 2024 score and have a Rajasthan domicile will get the 1^st preference than the ones from a different state.
• Applicants applying for their graduation marks which have a Rajasthan domicile will be preferred over those from other states

2nd year MCA 

• Applicants should have taken Mathematics as a subject in Class XII or graduation.
• Applicants should have a UG degree in any one of BCA, B.Sc. (I.T.), and B.Sc. (Computer Science) from a recognized university.
• Applicants must have achieved the minimum 50% of total marks and 45% for the reserved category.
• Applicants from the Rajasthan domicile will be given 1st preference than the ones from a different state

RMCAAT 2024 Exam Pattern

• The questions are set with 200 questions in it.
• All the questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) in the question paper.
• The application will be given 2 hours to complete the exam.
• No extra time will be allowed to applicants in any situation as per the government rules and regulations.
• One mark will be granted to the applicant for every correct answer.
• There is no negative marking done for any of the questions.

RMCAAT Exam Pattern 2024  

• The online exam will be of 200 questions; all questions are of objective-based MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions).
• The time duration for the online entrance exam is 2 hours (120 minutes).
• Each question carries 1 mark, there will be 200 questions.
• There is no negative marking, so candidates should attempt all the questions.

RMCAAT 2024 Admit Card

Admit Card will be available for the applicants who have completed the application process successfully and also have cleared the eligibility criteria.

Admit card will be available one week in advance from the exam date It is a must to carry the Admit Card to the examination center. Applicants without the Admit Card will not be allowed to enter the examination center.

• Applicants need to go to the official website to access the Application Form
• Once on the home page click on download for the Admit card.
• Enter your registration number along with the date of birth and then click on Submit
• The admit card is an important document and must be kept carefully until the admission process is completely over.

RMCAAT 2024 Result

Results will be available on the website once the exams are done, and the official authorities complete the checking. The applicants who have been qualified will be able to participate in the counseling process.

RMCAAT 2024 Counselling

NOTE: Applicants who have qualified the entrance exam will be called for RMCAAT 2024 Counseling process. The various steps involved are explained below.

Choice Filling and Locking:

• Applicants need to fill the online option form mentioning their choice of the institute.
• This can be edited or modified any number of times in the specified period.

Seat Matrix 

• While the applicants select their preferred institute, they will also be able to see the latest seat matrix on the website
• Applicants should always refer to the site in case of any doubt in this regard.

Seat Allocation

• The seat allotment will be done according to the percentage marks achieved in graduation by the candidates and the NIMCET examination.

Allotment Letter 

• Once the seat allotment is done and announced, applicants need to download their allotment letters from the website as it will not be sent via post.

Reporting

• The applicant will have to report to the allotted institute along with the requisite documents within the specified time frame.
• A provisional admission letter will be granted to those who have reported it.
• In case the candidate fails to report on time, his seat will be canceled.

Upward Movement of Seats 

• Vacant seats will be available for upward movement after the first round of counseling is over.
• The applicants who registered for the first round and were not allotted a seat, as well as those who were allotted a seat and reported to the specific institute, will be eligible for upward movement round.

Allotment of the new seat 

• If the applicant is allotted a new college through an upgrade, the previously allotted seat will be canceled.
• The vacated seat would be allotted to another worthy candidate.

Reporting 

• The applicant will have to report to the newly allotted institute after an upward movement within the given period. If he fails to do so, his seat will be canceled.
