Punjab JET 2024 2nd Round Seat Allotment has been Released on 16th August 2024. 2nd Round Counselling Registration has been Started on 23rd July 2024. 1st Round Counselling Registration has been Started on 7th June 2024. Punjab JET Counselling 2024 is organized by the Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh.

Punjab JET Counseling 2024 is organized by the State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training of Punjab in Chandigarh. It is organized for admission to regular and part-time degree courses at the technical institutions of Punjab and the state of Chandigarh.

The JET entrance exam in Punjab will not be organized for diploma courses. Admission to these courses will be based on the 10th / 12th grades. This article has updated all the details about Punjab JET 2024 Counseling.

Punjab JET 2024 Counselling

The Authority will organise web-based online Counseling from the 7th of June 2024. Candidates must register to receive advice. The advice will be done in two rounds. It will be organized only online to exercise the options of courses/universities.

The candidate’s physical presence in the counselling process will not be mandatory. After the job selection process, the authority will publish the results of the allocation of seats based on the merit list, the full selection, and the availability of vacancies.

Candidates must report to the assigned university at a given time with the documents to confirm seats.

Step 1: Online Registration

The first candidates must register for advice. The link will be provided above. You must register online to participate in online counselling. Applicants must complete all the details listed on the registration page.

Step 2: Filling in the choice

After registration, candidates must complete college options and courses based on their preferences. All candidates from other states’ general, reserved, and candidate categories may participate. Candidates can choose any number of options.

Step 3: Result of seat allocation

The result of the council (the result of the seat price) will be declared a few days after the election is filled. Candidates, those to whom a seat is assigned, can print the mission letter by initiating the student’s session.

They must deposit admission fees and report to the assigned university at a given time. Candidates can check the seat allocation result by entering their “application number/registration number”.

Step 4: Reports in the assigned institution and payment of fees:

According to the counselling schedule, candidates must report to the assigned institution and present admission fees in the given period.

The candidate’s documents will be checked on the day of admission. Applicants must pay admission fees to confirm their seats.

State Wise Allocation of Seats

85% of the seats will be reserved for candidates from Punjab, and 15% will be open to candidates from other states. Candidates, who pass their tenth examination of schools located in UT (Chandigarh), are eligible to obtain an entry fee of less than 15% to the institution in Punjab. Candidates who qualify for the Tenth Examination in Punjab and another State may apply for admission to the institution located in Chandigarh with a 15% fee.

All courses will be admitted by the reservation policy of the Government of Punjab and the Administration of Chandigarh. Applicants must submit all relevant documents in the original at admission.

Candidates must physically appear at the time of admission to the affected institution.
