PU UGLAW 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Ensure you meet the PU UGLAW 2024 eligibility criteria. Candidates must fulfil the academic requirements and qualify for the entrance test for admission. The eligibility criteria include passing the 10+2 examination with minimum marks from a recognised board/university. 

Distance learning and open university candidates are also considered eligible. Admission is based on the merit of the entrance test and 10+2 marks. Note that appearing and qualifying for the entrance test is mandatory for admission to the B.A./B.Com. LL.B. (Hons.) program.

• Academic Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination from a recognised board or university.
• Minimum Marks: A minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/BC/PwD candidates) in the 10+2 examination is required for eligibility.
• Distance/Correspondence Education: Candidates who obtained a 10+2 Higher Secondary Pass Certificate or First Degree Certificate through distance or correspondence education are also eligible.
• Open Universities: Candidates who have obtained a 10+2 qualification directly through the open university system, without any basic qualification, are not eligible for admission to the law courses.
• Merit-Based Admission: Admission to the course/s will be based on the merit of the entrance test and 10+2 marks, along with any other applicable weightage.
• Entrance Test: Candidates must appear in and qualify for the entrance test specific to the relevant year of admission. Candidates must be eligible for direct admission to the first semester with qualifying for the entrance test.
• Previous Academic Session: If a student needs to attend lectures in the first semester of the course/s in a previous academic session, they may be eligible for admission by qualifying for the entrance test again, provided all other eligibility conditions are fulfilled.
• Final Merit List: Admission to the course/s will be based on the final merit list.
