PESSAT 2022 Eligibility Criteria

• Age limit: The applicants who are above the age of 17 years at the time of admission are eligible to apply for the entrance exam
• Educational Qualification: The applicants must have completed HSC exams or intermediate exam or any equivalent exam from a recognized state board of education.
• Minimum Marks: The applicants who belong to the general category must have secured a minimum of 50 % marks in the qualifying exam and that of the reserved category must have secured a minimum of 45 % marks in the qualifying exam.

Post Graduate (PG) courses

• Age limit: The applicants who are above the age of 20 years at the time of admission are eligible to apply for the entrance exam
• Educational Qualification: The applicants must have completed Bachelor’s Degree or graduation in relevant field from a recognized university or institution to get admission in the institution
• Minimum Marks: The applicants who belong to the general category must have secured a minimum of 60 % marks in the qualifying exam and that of the reserved category must have secured a minimum of 55 % marks in the qualifying exam.

PESSAT 2022 Exam Pattern

• Mode of Exam: The applicants will have to appear for the entrance exam in online mode (Computer Based Test).

• Type of Questions: In the question paper of the entrance exam only objective type questions will be asked by the official authorities.
• Marking Scheme: Each correct answer given in the entrance exam will be awarded one mark.
• Negative Marking: The official authorities will not deduct any marks in the entrance exam for any wrong answers
