Application Fee
Candidates must keep the print copy of the Application Form & fees confirmation page for future reference. The Patna University 2025 application fee can be paid via NEFT, Debit or Credit card, Bank Challan, etc.
Candidates can access the payment facility in the form of:
- Net Banking
- Credit Card
- ATM-cum-Debit card
- If a candidate does not have a Net Banking facility/ Credit Card or ATM-cum-Debit Card, they can pay the fee in cash at any branch of Allahabad Bank through the Challan downloaded from the Entrance Test Portal. Candidates can download the duly filled-up Allahabad Bank challan from the Entrance Test Portal only when they select the “cash payment” option while filling out the Application Form online.
Note: No printout of the online submitted Application Form or proof of payment of the Entrance Test fee is to be submitted to the University.
Patna University 2025 Eligibility Criteria

| Master of Science | Applicants must be a Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) graduate with Hons in the subject concerned or as a subsidiary subject or as a subject in the past course or an allied subject. |
| Master of Arts | Candidates should be qualified for Bachelor’s degree (BA) with 45% in respective Hons subject / Major subj / Core Course or a Bachelor’s degree with 55 % marks in subsidiary/pass course / allied subjects. |
| Master of Commerce | The applicants must be qualified for a Bachelor’s degree (B.Com.) with Hons in the subject concerned or as a subsidiary subject or as a subject in Pass Course of in or in allied subjects – B.B.A, Economics, Statistics, and Mathematics. Preference will be given to those having passed with the subject as Hons Subj/Major sub/Core Course. |
| Master of Education | Candidates should have obtained at least 50 % marks or an equivalent grade in the following programs (i) B.Ed, (ii) B.A.B.Ed, B.Sc.B.Ed, (iii) B.El.Ed. (iv) D.El.Ed. With an undergraduate degree(with 50 % marks in each) |
| Master of Law | They should have a Bachelor’s degree in Law or an equivalent academic qualification with at least 45% marks in the bachelor of law examination. |
