OUAT 2023: Counselling (Started), Result, Dates, Rank card, Admission Procedure

OUAT 2023 UG Counselling Schedule has been Released; the Counselling has been Started on 16th August 2023. PG Rank Card will be Declared in September 2023. UG Admission Exam was held on 22nd & 23rd June 2023. The PG examination was held on 16th July 2023. The OUAT is an entrance exam conducted annually by the official authorities of the Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology. The official authorities of the Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology will organize the OUAT 2023 entrance exam at the university level for eligible applicants to give them admission to different colleges in the Orissa State. 

With the help of the OUAT 2023 entrance exam, the applicants will be able to get admission in various Under Graduate (UG), Post Graduate (PG) courses and some other courses too in the field of Agriculture, Horticulture, Veterinary Medicine, Live Stock, Agriculture and Technology, Fisheries, National Science and Forestry offered in different colleges affiliated with the OUAT college located in the Orissa State.

OUAT 2023 Application Form

The applicants will be able to get the details about the process of filling out the OUAT 2023 Application Form for the entrance exam in the below-given section. 

• The official authorities of the university will provide the OUAT 2023 Application Form for the applicants who want to apply for the entrance exam in online mode. 
• The applicants must go through the university’s official website to get the OUAT 2023 Application Form. 
• The applicants will be able to get the OUAT 2023 Application Form in February 2023 on the university’s official website online. 
• The OUAT 2023 Application Form will be made available on the official website of the university that is www.ouat.nic.in.  
• The applicants are instructed to submit the duly filled OUAT 2023 Application Form on the university’s official website by the first week of April 2023o. 
• Before filling out the OUAT 2023 Application Form, the applicants are instructed to get all the essential documents ready. 
• The applicants must provide mandatory Aadhar card details when completing the OUAT 2023 Application Form. 
• Other than that, the applicants will also have to enter some basic details such as personal details, educational details, contact details, residential details and much more important information when filling out the OUAT 2023 Application Form. 
• The applicants must provide correct and accurate details when filling out the OUAT 2023 Application Form. 
• The official authorities will reject the OUAT 2023 Application Form of the applicants with false or misleading information or incomplete information. 
• Once the details are filled in the OUAT 2023 Application Form, the applicants are instructed to upload some scanned copies of the necessary documents, like scanned copies of the coloured passport-size photograph and a scanned image of the signature in the prescribed format and size.

• Once the OUAT 2023 Application Form is filled, the applicants will have to submit the same on the official website of the university only. 
• Then the applicants will be able to receive the login ID and password along with the application number from the official authorities via email on the registered email id or by SMS on their registered phone number. 
• The applicants need to keep the login ID, password and application number safe till the completion of the admission process. 
• The applicants will then have to pay the OUAT 2023 Application Fee online only before the due date as decided by the Official website.
• The applicants need not send the hard copies of the filled OUAT 2023 Application Form to the official authorities in offline mode.

OUAT 2023 Application fee

The applicants are requested to go through the details we have provided below in this section about the payment of the OUAT 2023 Application fee for the entrance exam. 

• The applicants are instructed to pay the OUAT 2023 Application fee before the due date to avoid rejecting the OUAT 2023 Application form. 
• The OUAT 2023 Application fee payment should be made online by debit card, credit card or net banking facilities. 
• The OUAT 2023 Application fee will not be refunded to the applicants under any circumstances. 
• The OUAT 2023 Application fee can also be paid in cash using the Common Service Centre (Jana Seva Kendra).

OUAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The applicants will be able to get the essential details about the OUAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria available in the below-given section. 

Nationality:

• Applicants who are citizens of India are only eligible to apply for the entrance exam. 

Age limit:

• The applicants who want to get admission to the institution must have completed 17 years of age as of December 31st, 2023 (Born on or before December 31st, 2003).

Domicile:

• The applicants holding a valid domicile certificate of Orissa state can apply for the entrance exam. 

Educational Qualification: 

For Under Graduate (UG) Course:

• The applicants must have completed HSC exams from a recognized university or board to get admission. 

For Post Graduate (PG) Course:

• The applicants must have completed a Graduation or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field from a recognized university or institution to get admission. 

For Ph. D Course:

• Applicants who have completed a Master’s Degree in a relevant field from a recognized university are only eligible to get admission to the institution. 

Minimum Marks:

• The applicants who score more than 50 % in the qualifying exam will only be eligible for admission. (40 % marks or more for reserved category applicants like SC or ST).

Appearing applicants:

• The applicants appearing for the final exams are also eligible to apply for the entrance exam.

OUAT 2023 Exam Pattern

The applicants will be able to get the details about the OUAT 2023 Exam Pattern in the below-given section as it contains the basic information about the exam mode, exam duration, exam language, total marks, total questions, marking scheme, negative markings or many more. 

• Mode of Exam: The exam will be held in Offline Mode.
• Duration of Exam: The applicants must finish the entire question paper in 2 hrs. 
• Language of Exam: The entrance exam will be in English for the applicants to understand.
• Total Number of Questions: The question paper for the entrance exam will contain 200 questions. (100 questions for Post Graduate (PG) and Ph. D courses)
• Total Marks: The question paper of the entrance exam will contain a maximum of 200 marks in total. (100 marks for Post Graduate (PG) and Ph. D courses)
• Type of Questions: The applicants must answer some objective type multiple choice questions in the entrance exam. 
• Marking Scheme: The applicants will get one mark for each correct answer in the entrance exam. 
• Negative Marking: There will be no negative markings in the entrance exam for any wrong answers the applicants gave. 
• Subjects: The entrance exam question paper will contain subjects like physics, chemistry, mathematics, / Biology. 

OUAT 2023 Exam Syllabus

OUAT 2023 Preparation Tips

OUAT 2023 Admit Card

The applicants who want to apply for the entrance exam will have to upload their Form – A – cum – Admit card online mode.  For the reference of such qualified applicants, we have mentioned below the basic information about the OUAT 2023 Admit Card for the entrance exam. The applicants who have met the eligibility criteria will have to fill out and upload the Form – A – cum –  Admit card on the official website of the university in online mode before the date of the entrance exam. 

The official authorities will release the confirmation cards in May 2023 in the first week. The applicants are instructed to carry the OUAT 2023 Admit Card at the entrance examination venue, a valid government identity proof, and a copy of the electronic mailing together with the OUAT 2023 Admit Card. The official authorities of the university will not permit any applicants to enter the examination venue without a hard copy of the OUAT 2023 Admit Card. However, applicants who want to apply for the Post Graduate (PG) course and Ph. D course will have to contact the Director one day before the date of the entrance exam to get the OUAT 2023 Admit Card. The applicants should preserve the OUAT 2023 Admit Card of the applicants till the completion of the entrance exam as it contains many important details such as the applicant’s name, roll number, photograph, signature, exam instructions, exam date and exam time, exam venue and many more details about the exam.

The official authorities of the University will organise an OUAT 2023 Counselling Session for the applicants who have qualified for the entrance exam. The applicants must appear for the OUAT 2023 Counselling Session in July 2023. Then the applicants who have received the seats in the institution are instructed to report to the allotted institutions for completion of the final admission formalities.
