Odisha NEET Counselling 2024 3rd Round Final Allotment List/Reporting Candidates has been Released on 23rd October 2024. The 3rd Round State Merit List has been Released on 9th October 2024. 2nd Round Final State Merit List has been Released on 13th September 2024. 2nd Round Registration & Choice Filling has been Started on 21st August 2024. 1st Round Provisional Seat Allotment was Released on 25th August 2024. The NEET Counselling 2024 in Odisha will be conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education and Training, Bhubaneshwar, Odisha.

Counselling is done to offer admission in the state. MBBS and BDS programs will be provided only through the NEET Scorecard.

Only qualified candidates will be considered for Counseling. The counselling will be done for 85% of total seats in Government and Private Medical/ Dental Colleges except for deemed universities.

Odisha NEET Counselling 2024 Procedure

Odisha NEET Counseling 2024 Registration has been started on 10th August 2024. The Counseling Procedure is done online mode. The authority will release the state merit list of qualified candidates; they will be called for the counselling process.

Counselling will be done based on the ranks obtained by the candidates. The candidates have to register themselves on the website. The candidates who register on the website only will be eligible to participate in all rounds of counselling. After the payment of the application fee, the registration will be successful. The counselling procedure will start after filling in the choices and locking them.

The counselling will be conducted, and seats will be allotted to the eligible candidates. To confirm their seats in the colleges, candidates have to report to the allotted college and confirm their seats.

Eligibility Criteria for Odisha NEET Counselling 2024

• The candidate’s age limits a minimum of 17 years of age, and there will be no upper age limit.
• The candidate must have the domicile of Odisha, and he/she must provide a Nativity certificate during certificate verification.
• He/she must have passed the 12^th class examination with a minimum of in total and have subjects such as physics, chemistry, and biology.
• For the SC/ST category candidates and physically challenged candidates, the minimum is 40% marks.

Admission Procedure for Odisha NEET Counselling 2024

• The qualified candidates must register on the website and fill out the application form.
• Then fill in the choices of colleges and courses and lock it.
• Documents will be verified after the registration; the candidates will receive a provisional admission letter from the OJEE cell along with acknowledgement of submitted documents.
• Candidates can take provisional admission by filling out the admission fee.
• The seat allotment will be based on rank and choice preferences.
• After the final counselling, OJEE will send the admitted candidates list along with the admission fees to the concerned institution.
• Candidates have to report to the allotted college to confirm their admission and seat within the specified date and time.

• Scheduled Tribe (ST): 12%
• Scheduled Cast (SC): 8%
• Physically Challenged (PC): 3% of each category
• Ex-Servicemen (ES): 3%
• Green Card Holders (GC): 5%
