The Oberoi Group is an organization that aims to lead in the hospitality industry by understanding its guests: designing and delivering products and services every day. Through its program called Systematic Training and Education Programme (STEP), candidates can avail the opportunity to participate in 3 years of training course including practicals at one of a hotel of The Oberoi Group.

Candidates get training in 4 core operational departments. The departments namely are- Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage Service, and Kitchen. Under STEP, two programs are offered (i) Kitchen Operations (ii) Hotel Operations. Admission is offered based on analyzing the applications received. There will be no written test or whatsoever. Instead, an interview round will be held in person arranged at various locations where the candidates choose themselves. Experts will see the academic records and performance in the interview session, and if found suitable, the institute will send offer letters.

For applying to the Oberoi STEP 2024, any 12th-class pass citizen between 18 to 20 years of age group can apply. Moreover, requirements differ depending on the courses available. The website for applying is www.oberoigroup.com.
