NUEPA 2025 Eligibility Criteria 

Before applying, candidates must go through the complete NUEPA 2025 eligibility criteria. To apply for entrance exam & admission candidates have to fulfill all criteria of NUEPA 2025. Check the Nationality, age criteria, and qualification criteria according to varies courses wise.

National University of Educational Planning and Administration invites application from eligible candidates for admission to the following Programs for the academic year 2025.

For M.Phil Program

• A candidate seeking admission to the M.Phil programs shall have a minimum of 55% marks ( 50% marks for SC / ST candidates and Persons with Disabilities ) or its equivalent grade in Master’s Degree in social sciences and allied disciplines from a recognized university.
• Candidates possessing a Master’s degree in other areas may also be considered if he/she has teaching experience or experience of working in the area of educational policy, planning and administration.
• The NET qualified candidates, who the UGC has awarded Junior Research Fellowships with the above-mentioned educational qualifications are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates who are yet to deal with their final examination at the Master’s level are also eligible to apply provided they pass the examination as per the eligibility conditions laid down at and submit Its proof at the time of the entrance examination.
• In 2025, a maximum of 20 scholars shall be selected for admission to the M.Phil.and Ph.D. Programmes.

For Ph.D. Program Full Time

• The university also offers admission to Ph. D. Programs for candidates with M.Phil. Degree in educational policy, planning & administration. In addition to the qualifications, candidates with exceptionally brilliant academic. record in social sciences / allied areas coupled with publications of high quality is considered for admission in the Ph.D. program.
• M.Phil. graduates of NUEPA will be eligible for admission to the Ph.D. Program after due scrutiny by a Selection / Admission Committee if they obtain an FGPA of 6 or above on the 10 point scale.
• Part-Time University also offers Part-time Ph. D. Programme based on the criteria as laid down in the rules of the university. A candidate seeking admission to a Part-time Ph.D. program is required to meet the following criteria 1. Should possess the educational qualifications as mentioned in Para ( a ) above; 2. Currently, should be in full – time employment.
• Should be a senior level educational functionary with a minimum of have years’ work experience in teaching, educational planning & administration.
• Should be eligible for one year leave from his / her organization to other course work.

NUEPA 2025 Application Process 

To get registered candidates to have to fill the application form which can get via online or offline mode. NUEPA 2025 application forms should be filled & submitted before the due date. Candidates must go through NUEPA 2025 information brochure before filling the application form.

The application form can be obtained from the NUEPA admission office or can be downloaded from the official website. A non-refundable application fee of INR 400 (INR 200 for SC/ST) has to be remitted in the form of DD issued in favor of ‘Registrar, NUEPA’, payable at New Delhi.

Candidates may also obtain the form via post or purchase in person. The duly filled in application form along with three copies of the research proposal (2500 words) should be sent by registered post to the given address:

NUEPA Fellowships

Phil and Full-time Ph.D. candidates will be granted NUEPA fellowships. The institution will award NET-qualified candidates with JRF the same in accordance with the norms of UGC. The continuation of the fellowship is subject to the progress report of the scholars duly approved by/her supervisor.
