The Assam NTSE (National Talent Search Examination) is an entrance exam organized every year in the state of Assam for the applicants of SSC class. The State Council of Educational Research and Training which is also known as SCERT is the official conducting authority to organize the first level of the entrance exam for the applicants of class SSC.

The NCERT which is also known as the National Council of Educational Research and Training is the official authority to conduct the second stage of the entrance exam in the month of May 2025.

• In online mode, applicants need to register themselves on the official website of the university.
• After that applicants have to start filling out the application form with the help of the educational qualification documents by entering some important details such as personal, educational, course-related details, parents’ details, contact and communication details, etc.
• After that, applicants need to upload the necessary documents in the application form as needed.
• After that take a printout of the duly filled application form once the form is filled and pay the application fee as mentioned on the official website of the university.

NTSE Assam 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• For the entrance exam the applicants of class SSC studying in government, local body, government-aided, private schools are only eligible to appear for stage 1 of the exam conducted by the SCERT.

Qualifying marks:

• Applicants who belong to the General category should score More than 55% marks in the qualifying exam.
• And applicants who belong to a reserved category should score more than 50% marks in the qualifying exam.

NTSE Assam 2025 Paper Pattern

• The entrance exam for the applicants will be held for two hours duration only in offline mode.
• The entrance exam consists of two papers – MAT (Mental Ability Test) and SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test).
• The MCQ-type questions will be asked in the paper.
• The applicants have to appear with 100 questions of 100 marks in the paper.
• The correct question in the paper will get one mark if there are no negative markings in the paper.

NTSE Assam 2025 Admit Card

The admit card is an important document for the applicants which will be made available in online mode by the official authorities. However, the admit card is the gate pass of the applicants to appear for the entrance exam and it should be carried at the time of the entrance exam as it is mandated.

Applicants need to visit the official website of the university in order to get the admit card with the help of the application number and password. Applicants have to download the admit card from the website and keep some copies of the admit card.

Applicants must keep the admit card safely till the time of admission procedure. Applicants who have successfully submitted the application form and fee on time will be able to get the admit card from the website.

NTSE Assam 2025 Result

The result has been available only for those applicants who will successfully appear for the entrance exam on the official website of the university. After completion of the entrance exam, the applicants have to visit the official website of the university.

After visiting the official website of the university applicants need to download the result from the official website with the help of the roll number and date of birth. After downloading the result from the website, Applicants are instructed to keep some copies of the downloaded result for future usage and keep it safe till the time of admission procedure.

The results will be required at the time of admission procedure as on the basis of the marks secured by the applicants in the entrance exam the official authorities will provide admission to them in the institution. NTSE Assam 2025 Selection Procedure

The official authorities have adopted a two-stage selection process for the eligible applicant to provide admission to the applicants. In the respective stage, union territories will conduct the entrance exam NTSE for the applicants in the month of November 2025. And the second stage will be conducted by the NCERT for the applicants in the month of May 2025.
