To apply, candidates must first register on the official homepage of the University website. Candidates applying for North-Eastern Hill University 2025, Shillong campus online, must only pay online. Easily get registered by the following steps listed below.

• Candidates applying for M.Phil. and PhD programs should submit a write-up of 200 words explaining the reason for joining the course.

• Register yourself and enter your Name, DOB, and Email ID
• You will get an Id and Password to log into your account
• Fill in the application form with valid details
• Paying INR 600 and INR 300 (for SC/ ST category) should be paid online using a Debit/ Credit card and Net Banking of HDFC or SBI Bank.
• Submit the application form.
• Take its printout and submit it to the concerned department during admission.

• Make the payment of the application fee through Demand Draft.
• Submit the application form either through the post or in person.

Note: The application fee of INR 100 can be paid through Bank Cheque or Bank Demand Draft favouring “North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong” or through NEHU challan payable at any SBI branch and attach the fee receipt along with the application form.
