NIT Nagpur Admission 2025 Admission has been done through JEE Main 2025. Visvesvaraya National Institute Of Technology (VNIT) previously known as the Visvesvaraya Regional College of Engineering (VRCE) was established in 1960. The institute represents one of the 31 NITs in the country. Following the transformation of the institute to VNIT in the year 2002, it will be declared as an Institute of National Importance according To the National Institutes of Technology, Act 2007.

The VNIT Nagpur admission is based on the marks earned in national-level entrance examinations. Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur, also well known that NIT Nagpur is the premier public engineering and research institution in India.

NIT Nagpur 2025 Result

The admission to the institute is conducted on the basis of entrance tests such as a JEE Main. Students can download the application forms from the official website.

The institute operates the semester course system which will be divided into two categories. Following the completion of the regular examination, the students will be able to apply for the re-evaluation process.

The notification in connection with the re-evaluation examination is published on the website. Those students who failed the exam and are not satisfied with their marks will be able to apply for re-evaluation exams.

For B.Tech/ B.Arch Program

The institute offers B.Tech and B.Arch program based on marks scored in 10+2 from a recognized board.

The applicant should have obtained a valid score in JEE Main carried out by the CBSE. Places in both the programs are stuffed through a centralized admission process managed by Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB)/ JoSAA.

For M.Tech Program

The Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology offers the M.Tech program in various specializations, in other words, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, etc.

The candidates must have scored a minimum of 60% marks in the qualification degree and obtained a fully qualified score in the GATE examination.

Note: The SC/ ST/ PWD category students must have scored at the very least 55% marks to apply.

For M.Sc Program

The institute offers M.Scprogram in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The candidates must have obtained a Bachelor’s degree in the corresponding subject with a minimum of 60% marks.

The admission to the program will be carried out through centralized counseling for M.Sc based on the IIT-JAM score.

For Ph.D. Program

The Ph.D. program is served in numerous fields of Engineering and Applied Sciences. The candidates should have the M.E/ M.Tech/ M.Arch/ M.Plan/ M.Sc degree with the minimum required marks and you must have qualified GATE or NET examination. Candidate should have experience of 5 years in the same field.
