NEST 2024 Counselling has been Started for NISER and CEBS Admission. Counselling for NISER Bhubaneswar has been Started on 16th July 2024. The NEST 2024 Board will be conducted separately by the two participating institutions.

The National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) is conducted to offer admission in 5 years of integrated M.Sc programs in NISER, Bhubaneswar, and UM-DAE CEBS, Mumbai. It’s a national entrance exam.

NEST 2024 Counselling

NEST Counseling 2024 has been Started on 23rd July 2024. Candidates appearing on the entrance examination will be eligible for rounds of Counseling. NISER and UM-DAE CEBS will lead their advice. The advice will be done via offline mode only. It will be done in three rounds.

The councils in both institutions will be held simultaneously. Candidates must appear at the consultation site at the scheduled date and time. Based on the assistance of the candidates, NISER and UM-DAE CEBS will publish the original merit list, which is a combined “merit list”. Without document verification, the candidate cannot sit on the board.

NEST Cut Off 2024. will be available in Online mode after the Result Declaration. The cut-off is the qualifying marks that candidates must secure in the examination to be eligible for admission.

NEST 2024 Counselling Schedule

The Counseling Registration for NISER has been Started on 16th July 2024. The advice will be given on different dates in both participating institutions. After assigning the seat to the first round of council, the second council will take place if the seats remain vacant.

The second orientation round and the waiting list will be published in the fourth week of July 2024. Candidates can consult the last waiting list of the site after publication. Applicants are invited to follow the advisory program provided by the official authority.

From the details below, candidates can get the counselling procedure of NEST 2024.

• Candidates have to fill out the Application Form first to participate in counselling.
• Candidates can select the venue for attending the counselling according to their convenience.
• On verifying the original documents, candidates can enter the further process.
• Candidates who will claim for the reserved category must produce the relevant certificate.
• In counselling, candidates have to select their college and course preference.
• By paying the demand draft of the requisite fee, candidates can get admission to the allotted college.
• The authority will give the offer letter to the candidate to get admission to the allotted college.

Documents Required

Candidates must bring these certificates, which are given below, on the day of counselling.

• 10th and 12th class mark sheet
• 12th class passing certificate
• School leaving/college leaving/transfer certificate
• Caste certificate (if required)
• Non-creamy layer certificate issued on or after June 1, 2020 (candidates who belong to the OBC category)
• Disability Certificate from Govt./Municipal hospital (in case of PD candidates)
• Domicile Certificate (for J & K quota)
• Demand Draft of Rs. 10,000/- in favour of UM-DAE CBS, Mumbai, towards initial payment of fees.

Two self-attested photocopies of the following documents have to be submitted at the time of admission:

• Proof of Citizenship/PIO/OCI card (applicable only if born outside India)
• Proof of Date of Birth (applicable only if DOB is not mentioned in any of the documents above)
