NEET PG 2026 Result/ Merit List

NEET PG 2026 Result is anticipated to be declared in July/August 2026, accessible via online mode. Candidates can retrieve their scorecards from the website using their login credentials. There will be no provision for re-evaluation, re-checking, or re-totalling of marks. The result will remain valid for the current academic session. 

In case of identical scores among candidates, tie-breaking criteria will be applied to determine their positions. Following the result announcement, the authority will release the NEET Merit list, showcasing the overall merit positions of all exam attendees.

NEET PG 2026 Cut-Off

The NEET PG 2026 Cut-Off will be released online and represents the minimum scores candidates must obtain in the examination. For the General/EWS category, the cut-off will be set at 50%, while for SC/ST/OBC candidates, it will be 40%, and for UR PWD candidates, it will be 45%. Candidates must score equal to or above these cut-off marks to qualify.

The cut-off marks will be determined based on factors such as the difficulty level of the exam, the number of aspirants appearing for the exam, and the previous year’s cut-off trends. The cut-off will be available either concurrently with or after the announcement of the result.

NEET PG 2026 Counselling

NEET PG counselling is overseen by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and conducted online. Participation in counselling is mandatory for shortlisted candidates, occurring in multiple rounds with steps including online registration, choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting. Seat allocation is based on candidate preferences, seat availability, and reservation criteria. 

Upon seat allocation, candidates must download their allotment letters from the website and report to the designated centre for document verification and admission procedures. Original and photocopies of documents are required for verification during this process.
