NEET 2025 Application Correction will be Started in 3rd week of March 2025. This online facility will allow candidates to modify certain details in their application form. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), commonly known as NEET-UG, is the only national-level entrance exam in India for undergraduate programs. Conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), NEET-UG serves as the gateway for admission to MBBS and BDS courses across the country.

The corrections window shall be available until the 4th week of March 2025 (up to 11:50 P.M.) After this deadline, no further corrections will be permitted under any circumstances. Any additional fees required for corrections must be paid by the candidate concerned using a Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. Since it is a one-time facility extended to the candidates to avoid hardships, the candidates are informed to do the correction very carefully, as no further chance for correction will be given to them.

Henceforth, only NEET marks were considered the entrance marks for the BDS and the MBBS courses. There are both government and private colleges in India for MBBS and BDS courses. The board will offer candidates the opportunity to correct their application forms, with this facility available starting in the third week of March 2025. To make the necessary corrections, candidates will need to log in to the official website, verify their details, and update any required information.

The process for filling out the NEET 2025 Application Form will begin in the second week of February 2025, with the last date for submission being in the third week of March 2025. The NTA will offer a correction facility for specific details, including the choice of exam centre and uploading of images. This correction facility will be available online only. Candidates will be granted a one-time opportunity to make corrections to data that could impact their merit.

During the NEET UG 2025 correction window, candidates will have the opportunity to rectify any necessary information, including particulars, choice of examination centres, photographs, signatures, and thumb impressions. It’s crucial to ensure accuracy in the details provided as changes made during this period cannot be further edited. Following the amendments in the NEET correction window, candidates will receive a one-time password (OTP) on their registered mobile number and email ID for verification purposes.

How to Use the NEET UG 2025 Correction Window?

To make corrections to your NEET UG 2025 application form, follow these simple steps:

• Visit the Official Correction Link: Click on the correction link provided on the NEET website.
• Access Candidate Login: Navigate to the “Candidates Login” section.
• Enter Credentials: Input your application number and password.
• Submit Security Code: Enter the security code and click the “Sign In” button.
• Select Correction Link: Click on the link designated for making corrections.
• Update Details: Make the necessary corrections to your application form.

Ensure that all corrections are made carefully, as there will be no further opportunities for corrections.

NEET Correction 2025 Details

Candidates will be permitted to make corrections to specific details and scanned images in their NEET 2025 application form. The correction facility will be available only once, so candidates need to fill out their application form accurately and thoroughly.

Correction in Particulars

Candidates can correct specific details in their NEET 2025 application form as follows:

Identification Identity:

• Candidates who use IDs other than an Aadhaar Card (such as Passport Number, roll card Number, Bank Account Number, or Aadhaar Enrollment Number) can add their Aadhaar Number or Aadhaar Enrollment Number.
• Candidates who use an Aadhaar Card or are from OCIs, PCIs, NRIs, or foreigners cannot make corrections to the identification identity.

Date of Birth:

• Candidates who used IDs other than Aadhaar Card can correct their Date of Birth.
• Candidates who use an Aadhaar Card cannot correct their Date of Birth, as it must match the Aadhaar details.

Gender:

• Candidates who used IDs other than Aadhaar Card can correct their Gender.
• Candidates who use an Aadhaar Card cannot correct Gender, as it must match the Aadhaar details.

Category:

• All candidates can change their category, provided it aligns with the central list of categories.
• Note: If a change in category involves a higher fee, candidates must pay the difference.

Disability Status:

• All candidates can correct their disability status.
• Note: If a change in disability status involves a higher fee, candidates must pay the difference.

Medium of Question Paper:

• All candidates can change the medium of the question paper.
• Note: Changing to a regional language may also require a change in the examination centre.

Examination Center:

• All candidates can correct their chosen examination centre.

Qualifying Examination Code & Percentage (%) of Marks Obtained in Class 12th:

• All candidates can correct these details.

Parents’ Names (Father’s & Mother’s):

• All candidates can correct or interchange their parents’ names.

Details that can be Edited Through the NEET 2025 Correction Window

Below are the details that candidates can edit using the NEET edit window for the year 2025:

Note:-

• After making edits to the NEET 2025 application form, candidates will be prompted to enter a security pin for verification. If further corrections are needed, candidates can either use the ‘back’ button or select the ‘preview and submit’ option to ensure that the changes are correctly saved.
• Once the edits are submitted, candidates should complete the process by taking a printout of the correction slip. This can be done by clicking on ‘Click here to print this page.’
• If there is a change in category, candidates must pay the additional fee as required. The NEET 2025 application fee can only be paid online, using net banking or debit cards, before the deadline for the correction window.
• To obtain the correction slip, candidates should log in with their credentials and click on ‘Click here to take a printout of the correction slip.’ Corrections made will be highlighted in red for easy identification.

NEET 2025 Correction Process

To use the correction facility, candidates must visit the NEET 2025 website during the designated correction period. Any additional fee, if applicable, should be paid through Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI, or PAYTM.

Corrections to any other data that do not affect the candidature or merit will not be permitted. Candidates should be very cautious while making corrections, as there will be no further opportunity for corrections. After making corrections, candidates should print the correction slip and keep it for their records. The Board will not entertain any correspondence regarding corrections after this process.

If the correction involves a change in category that requires an additional fee, the payment must be made using a Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking during the specified period. Parents are advised to review this information and assist their child in ensuring that all corrections are made correctly.

Correction In Scanned Images

Candidates who have uploaded incorrect photographs and signatures will be notified by the NTA via SMS and email. These candidates will be required to upload the correct photograph and signature within the given timeframe. It’s important to note that no further corrections will be permitted after the closure of the NEET correction window facility. Therefore, candidates need to ensure the accuracy of their uploaded documents during the correction period to avoid any inconvenience later on.

How to Make Changes to Uploaded Images

To make changes to the uploaded passport-size photograph and signature in the NEET 2025 application form, follow these steps:

• Visit the Official Website: Go to neet.ntaonline.in.
• Log In: Click on the ‘NEET Candidate Login’ link.
• Enter Credentials: Input your application number and password received during NEET 2025 registration.
• Change Image Notification: A message prompting you to change images will be displayed on the screen.
• Upload New Images: Upload the correct passport-size photograph and signature.
• Submit Corrections: After submitting the changes, an OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to your registered mobile number.
• Download Correction Slip: Download and save the correction slip for your records.

What if candidates do not Receive NEET Application Form Discrepancy Mail by NTA?

There is a possibility that candidates might not receive an email or SMS from NTA regarding discrepancies in their NEET 2025 application form. Therefore, candidates should log in to the NEET candidate portal and review all the details in their form. Verifying each detail against their certificates will help ensure accuracy. If any errors are found, candidates should promptly make the necessary corrections using the NEET 2025 correction window.

What after the NEET Correction Window in 2025?

Following the conclusion of the NEET 2025 application correction window, successfully registered candidates will have the opportunity to download their admit cards online. The NEET-UG 2025 admit card can be obtained using the application number, date of birth, password, and security pin provided during the registration process. Candidates must download and carry their NEET admit card to the examination centre along with valid ID proof and other necessary documents.

Failure to present the admit card may result in disqualification from appearing in the exam. Therefore, candidates are advised to ensure they have their admit card readily available and thoroughly review all instructions provided on it before the examination day.
