NEET 2025 Application Form 

Before filling out the NEET UG Application Form 2025, it’s crucial to understand and follow the provided guidelines to ensure a smooth and successful application process. All the candidates filling out the application form are advised to fill in the correct information. Read the instructions carefully that would be mentioned in the application form. • The NEET 2025 application form will be released on the website. 
• The start date to submit the application form for NEET 2025 is 1st week of March 2025. 
• The last date to submit the application form for NEET 2025 is 1st week of April 2025.
• One candidate can fill out one application form. 
• All the candidates would have to upload all the documents instructed in the application form.
• Every instruction in the application form is essential, so do not miss reading them. 
• Every detail in the application form is important so avoid making any mistakes.
• Fill in your information, such as Name, Date of birth, etc, correctly.
• Note down your registration number, User ID, and Password. 
• After you have filled out the application form, take a printout of it.
• No candidate has to send the printout of the application form.

NEET 2025 Application Fee

The application fee for NEET 2025 must be paid online using Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, etc. Candidates will also incur processing fees and GST charges. For applicants outside India, the fee is Rs. 9500/-. The fee structure varies for different categories.

How to Apply For the NEET 2025 Application Form?

Step 1: Visit the NEET 2025 website and click on the “New Registration” button.

• Initiate the process by accessing the NEET 2025 website and selecting the option for new registration.

Step-2: Enter the registration details and generate ID & password.

• Input the required information for registration and create a unique ID and password for future access.

Step-3: Fill personal, Aadhaar, qualification, exam centers, communication details.

• Provide personal information, Aadhaar details, educational qualifications, preferred exam centers, and communication details.

Step-4: Upload the required documents.

• Upload the necessary documents, such as photographs and signatures, as per the specified guidelines.

Step-5: Verify your Email ID & Phone Number.

• Confirm the accuracy of your email ID and phone number to ensure successful communication.

Step-6: Pay the application fee via online mode.

• Complete the payment of the application fee using online payment methods available on the portal.

Step-7: Generate & Print the confirmation page.

• Once the payment is processed, generate and print the confirmation page for future reference.

NEET 2025 Application Correction

NTA will offer candidates the chance to rectify errors in their NEET UG application forms. This correction window, accessible via login, will open in April 2025. Notifications regarding necessary corrections to photographs and signatures will be sent through Email/SMS and candidate login.

However, changes to the exam centre city and question paper medium won’t be permitted. Candidates must utilize this correction period, as no further opportunities will be given afterwards.

NEET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

To ensure eligibility for NEET 2025, candidates should carefully review the following criteria. These encompass nationality, educational background, age requirements, and subject prerequisites. • Nationality: Applicants must be Indian Nationals, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs, or Foreign Nationals.
• Special Provision for UTs of J&K & Ladakh: Candidates from Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh can apply under the 15% All India Quota.
• Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have passed the 12th or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
• Candidates Appearing for Qualifying Exam: Those appearing for the qualifying exam in 2025 are also eligible to apply.
• Age Limit: The minimum age requirement is 17 years at the time of admission or before December 31, 2025. There is no upper age limit.
• Subjects Required: Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English are mandatory subjects in the 12th class.
• Minimum Marks: Candidates must secure at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) subjects combined. However, there’s a 10% relaxation in marks for SC/ST and OBC-NCL categories.

NEET 2025 Exam Pattern 

Candidates preparing for the NEET exam must grasp its pattern to navigate the test effectively. Understanding its structure, including mode, question types, duration, and marking scheme, is crucial for optimal performance on exam day.

• Mode: Conducted offline (pen & paper-based).
• Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) will be asked.
• Duration: The exam spans three hours and 20 minutes, with an additional hour and 5 minutes for PwBD candidates.
• Sections: Divided into two sections – Section A (35 Questions) and Section B (15 Questions), where candidates must attempt any 10 out of 15 questions in Section B.
• Subjects: Questions will be based on Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology.
• Medium: The exam will be conducted in 13 languages, including English, Hindi, and various regional languages.
• Marking Scheme: Correct answers earn 4 marks, incorrect ones result in a deduction of 1 mark, and unanswered or unattempted questions carry no marks.

NEET 2025 Exam Centres

NEET exam centers are located across various cities, both within India and internationally. From Port Blair to Singapore, candidates have the convenience of choosing a center near their location for the examination.

NEET 2025 Exam City Slip

NTA facilitates candidates by announcing their allotted examination city ahead of the admit card release. The NEET Advanced Exam City Slip will be available in April 2025. Candidates can access their assigned exam city by logging in using their application number, date of birth, and password.

It’s essential to note that the exam city slip does not serve as the admit card; candidates must download their admit card separately from the website.

NEET 2025 Admit Card 

NEET UG Admit Card 2025 is slated for release in April 2025, a few days before the examination. It will be exclusively available for download on the official website and won’t be dispatched via post or offline channels. Candidates encountering difficulties in downloading the admit card can seek assistance from the helpline during working hours or contact NTA via email.

If any discrepancies are found in the NEET 2025 hall ticket, candidates should promptly contact the helpline between 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Despite any corrections needed, candidates must appear for the exam with their downloaded admit card. NTA will rectify any errors in records subsequently.

NEET 2025 Answer Key

Candidates can access their NEET 2025 Response Sheet and answer key online. The answer key is expected to be released in May 2025, divided into two parts: Provisional and Final Key.

If candidates have any doubts regarding the provisional answer key, they can submit their challenges through the website. Each question challenge will incur a fee of Rs.200/-. A panel of subject experts will review the challenges and subsequently publish the final answer key. The objection window is anticipated to be open in May 2025.

NEET 2025 Result

NEET Result 2025 or Score Card will be accessible solely through the NEET website in June 2025. It will be available exclusively via online mode, and there won’t be any provision for rechecking or re-evaluation of answer sheets.

Candidates will need to log in using their credentials to view the results. The result will remain valid for admission in the current year session. Candidates should preserve the result or scorecard for future admission purposes.

NEET 2025 Merit List

NTA will publish the NEET UG Merit List 2025 based on candidates’ marks in the entrance exam, alongside the result, via online mode.

In the event of a tie between two or more candidates, the inter-se-merit criteria will be employed to determine the rank. Since 2024, the candidate’s age has been excluded from the criteria. The inter-se-merit criteria will be as follows:

• Candidate with higher marks in Biology (Botany & Zoology) in the test.
• Candidate with higher marks in Chemistry on the test.
• Candidate with higher marks in Physics on the test.
• Draw lots using a computer or IT with no human intervention.

NEET 2025 Cut-Off

The NEET cut-off 2025 will be disclosed in June 2025, post-result declaration. Students scoring marks below the released cut-off will qualify for admission.

NEET UG Counselling 2025 will be managed by the MCC (Medical Council Committee) and conducted exclusively through online mode. Candidates will be invited for counselling based on the All India Merit List, commencing from July 2025.

The counselling procedure will encompass several steps, including registration, filling and locking of choices, seat allotment, document verification, and reporting to allotted colleges. Candidates must visit the allocated college and fulfil the admission formalities. Counselling rounds will be conducted based on the availability of vacant seats.
