The NCHMCT JEE is the national-level entrance examination managed by the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT). Candidates will get admission in the various courses of the hotel management field based on their marks scored in the examination of NCHMCT JEE 2024.

NCHMCT JEE 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Those candidates who wish to get admission to the various affiliated colleges of hotel management programs; can apply to the NCHMCT JEE 2024 examination based on their eligibility criteria.

Before applying for this examination, the applicants must check their eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria have mentioned below.

Nationality, Medical & Age Criteria

• Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India.
• Age Criteria(General and OBC): For candidates belonging to general and OBC categories, the upper age limit will be 22 years as of July 1, 2024. Candidates born on or after July 1, 1998, can apply for the NCHMCT JEE 2024.
• Age Criteria (ST/SC): The upper age limit for candidates belonging to ST/SC categories will be 25 years as of July 1, 2024. Candidates born on or after July 1, 1994, can apply for the NCHMCT JEE 2024.
• Medical Criteria: The candidate applying for the NCHMCT JEE 2024 should be medically fit. Such candidates must submit a physical fitness certificate at admission from a Registered Medical Practitioner.

Qualification Criteria:

• Qualifying Exam: The candidate must be passed in the intermediate examination from a recognized board or university.
• Subjects: Candidate must be passed in English (core/functional/elective) subject in the qualifying entrance test.
• Appearing Candidates: Candidates appearing in the last year are also eligible to apply.

• Plus two level exams in 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary education of any recognized Central or State Boards.
• General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
• Intermediate or two years Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board or University.
• High School Certificate Examination from Cambridge University.
• HSC Vocational Exam approved by NCVT and SCVT of the respective state.
• Senior Secondary Exam organized by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects (including English).
• Any Public School, Board, or University Examination in India or a foreign country recognized by the AIU as equivalent to a 10+2 pattern.
