• The applicant appearing for the entrance exam should be a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh state.
• The applicant should have completed the HSC examination from a known university.

• Applicants appearing for the BUMS course should have Urdu as a compulsory subject in the HSC examination.
• An applicant from the general category should have scored at least 50% in the HSC examination.
