For RJC (Residential Junior College):

  • Eligibility Based on Examination: Students who have appeared for the SSC Examination or its equivalent in 2024 are eligible to apply for admission. Candidates who have passed SSC or its equivalent in earlier years are not eligible to apply.
  • Supplementary Candidates: Supplementary/Advance Supplementary appearing candidates are not eligible for admission.
  • GPA Requirement: EBC candidates must secure a minimum GPA of 6.0, while other candidates shall secure a minimum GPA of 5.0 in SSC. All students (EBC and others) must secure a GPA of 4.0 in English for admission into Intermediate.
  • Income Criteria: Annual income of the Parents/Guardian should not exceed Rs.1,50,000/- in rural areas and Rs.2,00,000/- in urban areas.
  • Reservation of Seats: 25% of seats are reserved for students who studied in MJPTBCW Residential Schools and Govt. BC Welfare Hostel Boarders. 75% of seats are allotted for other students. Govt. BC hostel students should produce a certificate issued by the Hostel Welfare Officer concerned at the time of admission.
  • Entrance Test: Candidates seeking admission into Intermediate courses at MJPTBC Residential Junior Colleges are required to appear for an entrance test in all districts.

For RDC (Residential Degree College):

  • Students who appeared for Senior Intermediate Examination in March/April-2024 conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education of Telangana or an equivalent examination are ONLY eligible to appear for the test, subject to other conditions.
  • Students appearing for the Intermediate instant examination in 2024 are not eligible for admission; hence, they need not apply for the entrance test.
  • The students should have passed the qualifying examination in the first attempt in IPE- March/April-2024 and secure 50% of marks on aggregate and 40% of marks in the English subject. (There is a relaxation of 5% in case of SC/ST).
  • BC/SC/ST/EBC students are eligible for admission.
  • Annual Income of the Parents/Guardian shall not exceed Rs.1,50,000/- in Rural areas and Rs.2,00,000/- in Urban Areas.
