MH CET 2024 Exam Fees Structure (Out) – Check Fees Details Here

Latest Applications Open 2024:

The Government of Maharashtra conducts the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test. It is an annual entrance exam. It is a standard entrance test organized for providing admissions in health Science Degrees, Engineering and technology, and Pharmacy courses.

The MH CET Question Paper will comprise three papers – Physics and Chemistry, Botany and Zoology, and Mathematics.

The candidate selected for engineering degree courses should appear in Paper I and Paper III, and the candidate selected for the Pharmacy degree course should appear in Paper-I & Paper-II and Paper III.

Application Fees 2024

The Application fee will be Rs.800/- with bank charges, for open candidates and Rs.600/- with bank fees, for reserved candidates.

The fee payment will be made through the challan of SBI Bank. Candidates are suggested to keep the printouts of the application form for further use.

The fee for the course should be paid at the respective college by Demand Draft from any Nationalized / Scheduled Commercial Bank for the Dean/Principal of the College, as applicable.

MH CET Refund Fee Rules

The candidate who will be admitted and wishes to cancel admission should apply. The refund of fees to the candidate admitted to the college shall be made after deduction as under

  • Before the cutoff date, as declared by the respective council – Rs.1500/- (RS. One Thousand Five Hundred Only) is to be deducted, and the rest of the fees will be refunded.
  • On or after the cutoff date as declared by the respective council-No no refund of fees.

The Dean/Principal of the college shall be responsible for refunding the fees and a cancellation letter from the candidate.

No deduction shall be made if the candidate expires or becomes invalid within 90 days from admission.

Cancellation

The selected candidate must join the college at which he/she is selected on or before the date prescribed by the Competent Authority, failing which his/her admission stands cancelled.

The selected candidate who has joined the college and wanted to cancel the admission should cancel it at the respective college.

The college should accept the cancellation and inform the Competent Authority along with a copy of the cancellation letter immediately.

Final Selection

  • The selection made by the Competent Authority as per this procedure is final and will be binding on the candidate.
  • Request for mutual transfer is not permissible. Such requests will not be entertained.

Service Bond & Penalty

As per Government Resolution (G.R.No.MED1007/CR-490/07/Edu-2 dated 8th February 2008), candidates selected against the seats of Government/Municipal Corporation colleges for admission to MBBS / BDS courses will be required to sign a bond to serve the Government of Maharashtra or Local self-government or Defence services for one year, failing which he/she will be required to pay Rs.10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Lacs only) for the default.

Additionally, he/she will be necessary to sign an undertaking to the effect that he/ she will not leave India within five years from obtaining the degree.

PENALTY FOR LAPSE OF SEAT (MBBS/BDS COURSE)

As per Government Resolution dated 31/02/2016, any candidate responsible for the lapse of Government / Corporation MBBS/BDS seat will have to pay a penalty of Rs.10,00,000/- (Rupee Ten Lacs Only).

This penalty applies to all those candidates who do not join during the last round or cancel a seat after the last round of admission, amounting to the lapse of seats. This penalty also applies to the candidate resigning from a position after the cutoff date for the MBBS/BDS course.

A candidate, who will be admitted to Government / Corporation College for MBBS/BDS seat, will have to give an undertaking that he/she will have to stay in India for five years after completing the internship.

Candidates not complying with this undertaking will have to pay Rupee 10 Lacs as a penalty.

Examination Paper 

There is no choice among the questions, i.e., all questions must be answered. The candidate desirous of selection to Health Science courses and BVSc & AH should appear for Paper I & Paper II.

The candidate desirous of selection to Engineering degree courses should appear for Paper I and Paper III. The candidate desirous of selection to the Pharmacy degree course should appear for Paper-I & Paper II, and Paper III.

Candidates will be provided with separate OMR answer sheets with each question paper. At the end of each paper, the candidate will hand over the OMR Answer sheet and Question booklet to the invigilator.

  • Candidates cannot take the Question Booklet outside the exam hall during or after the examination.
  • The candidate will be required to mark the correct answer by blackening the corresponding circle against the serial number of the question in the answer sheet with a black ink ballpoint pen only.
  • Out of four circles provided for selecting an answer to a question, the candidate should fill up one circle only. Each correct answer will be given a mark/(s). There shall be no negative marking for wrong answers.
  • Changing An Answer Is Not Allowed: The candidates must fully satisfy themselves about the accuracy of the answer before darkening the appropriate circle, as no change in the Answer once marked is allowed.
  • The answer, once marked, is final, any change in the option once marked, done by any method, will amount to an invalid/incorrect response.
