MGU CAT (Mahatma Gandhi University) has been conducting Common Entrance Test each year for the aspiring students who are seeking admission in the post-graduation in Statutory Teaching Departments and Inter-School Centres.
The admission can be taken through the Unified distribution process. You are needed to apply for the form through an online medium and for 4 courses, you will have to fill out one form at one time. Students are commanded to choose the course as per liking.
There is a rank list that is made for varied courses once the result is out, as per the scores obtained in the Entrance Test and the choices opted for during the registration process. Those filling out more than one form will not be considered for further admission process. The MGU will be held for the students to be selected. Those looking for an application form must go to the website that is www.mgu.ac.in. The aspirants should log in some of the vital details and then it can be loaded from the official portal.
MGU CAT 2024 Exam Pattern
- The CAT which is the Common entrance test will be organized for 90 minutes for various courses.
- The entrance test includes the objective questions for postgraduate courses.
- The courses namely School of Letters, School of Indian Legal Thought, School of Tourism Studies will be included in the exam syllabus and these are the topics the exam will be consisting of.
- It is suggested to the students they must go to the exam center one hour before the commencement of the exam.
- During the exam, it is required the aspirants to carry the admit card serving as proof and without it, you are not going to have the permission to give the exam. It contains the details such as roll no, name and place of the exam, date of exam, roll no, etc.
- It is informed to all aspirants that during the exam, they should go through the guidance mentioned in the question paper. The question papers have been made available by the exam body for the students who want to give a good performance in the exam.
- CAT includes a total of 165 marks that you have to answer to and the question paper will be distributed into three parts namely Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning, Verbal Ability, and Data Interpretation.
