Meghalaya TET stands for Meghalaya Teacher Eligibility Test, and the Meghalaya TET Examination is regulated through the Meghalaya Board of School Education.

Meghalaya TET 2024 Syllabus

The applicants must have to prefer the syllabus for the better preparation of the Examination if they are unable to found any other preparation thing. The syllabus is the first and best option for the candidates to do Prepare for the Examination. The Meghalaya Board of School Education has prescribed the syllabus and exam pattern for the candidates. The syllabus details mentioned below.

• The structure and content of the MLT are given in the following paragraphs. All questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark, with four alternatives, out of which one answer will be correct. There will be no negative marking. The examining body should strictly adhere to the structure and content of the MLTET specified below.
• 1. Paper I: For those who want to become teachers for classes I-V.
  2. Paper-II: For those who want to teach classes between VI and VIII.
  3. paper I and II: Those interested in teaching from Class I to VIII will have to appear and qualify in both the papers.
• Some states conduct Paper III exam or Category III is for secondary school teacher recruitment.

Meghalaya TET 2024 Syllabus Details

ML TET Syllabus consists of two objective type question papers. Each paper will consist of 150 MCQs and each question carries 1 marks totaling 150 marks. Following are the details of question papers :

• Paper I Syllabus: To become teachers for classes I-V in Meghalaya primary school.
• Paper-II Syllabus: To become teachers for classes between VI and VIII in Meghalaya upper primary school.
• Paper I and II: For those candidates who are interested in teaching from Class I to VIII. They can appear for both the papers and have to get qualifying marks to be considered for all the classes.

MLTET Paper I (for classes I to V) –Lower Primary No. of MCQs – 150;

Duration: one-and-a-half hours
Structure and Content (All Compulsory)

(i) Child Development and Pedagogy 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(ii) The language I 30 “ 30 “
(iii) Language II 30 “ 30 “
(iv) Mathematics 30 “ 30 “
(v) Environmental Studies 30 “ 30 “

MLTET- Paper II (for classes VI to VIII)- Upper Primary No. of MCQs – 150

Duration: one-and-a-half hours

(iv) (a) For Mathematics and Science teacher: Mathematics and Science – 60 MCQs of 1 mark each
(b) For Social studies teacher: Social Studies – 60 MCQs of 1 mark each
(c) for any other teacher – either 4(a) or 4(b)
