- MAT 2024 eligibility does not impose any age bar to appear in the MAT 2024 exam.

A. Completed Bachelor’s degree, or
B. Completed professional degree e.g. CA/CS/ICWA, or

What is the mode of the test?
A. Candidate can opt for Computer Based Test (CBT) by paying a fee of ₹ 1550/-.
Note:
Candidates can opt for both the tests i.e. PBT and CBT by paying an extra fee of ₹1100/- in addition to ₹1550/-. Candidates opting for both PBT and CBT will have the benefit of selecting an additional 2 Management Institutions for sending their scores in addition to the existing option of selecting 5 Management Institutions i.e. they can select 7 Management Institutions in total.

MAT Eligibility Criteria 2024
MAT 2024 Feb. Session Registration will be started from 1st week of January 2024. Students must fill all the details carefully and upload scanned images of photographs and signatures in the specified format.
When & how many times MAT is conducted in a year? Qualification & percentage needed for it.
- MAT is usually conducted 4 times a year in February, May, September, and December. The minimum qualification for appearing in MAT is graduation in any discipline from any recognized University or equivalent recognized degree.
- A final year student in any undergraduate (i.e. B.A, B.Sc., B.Com., B.Tech., etc) can also appear provisionally.
- Usually, there is a minimum percentage requirement in graduation, which is different for different MIs/University.
- For this refer to the prospectus of the particular MIs/University.
Qualification Criteria:
- Qualifying Exam: The minimum qualification required to sit in the examination is graduation. The candidates may complete their graduation from the recognized University in any of the courses like BA, B.Sc., B.Com., B.Tech. etc.
- Appearing Candidates: The final year graduation appearing candidates can also apply for the MAT 2024.
Percentage Criteria:
Achieve minimum passing marks in graduation to appear in the examination. The percentage criteria of graduation vary MIs to MIs. The candidates are suggested to refer to the information brochures of particular MI’s/University for the same.
Age Criteria:
- There is no age limitation for the MAT 2024 examination. As per AIMA rules, a candidate of any age can appear on the exam.
- Candidates who have no work experience can also take the examination.
Number of Attempts:
- Candidates that they attend the MAT 2024 examination as many times as possible. There is no restriction for the number of attempts, but try to qualify for the examination for the first time only.
- The PBT and CBT examination of MAT is scheduled four times a year, the aspirants can attend all four examinations if not satisfied with the scores.
Any B-School – National or International – can consider MAT Score as an admission input based on the Score Cards issued to the candidates.
What is the nature of the MAT test?
It is an objective-type test with multiple-choice answers. The test is designed to measure a person’s general aptitudes as the following table indicates:
