Entrance Examinations
The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) examination score will be accepted through all of Karnataka’s private and government law colleges.
The CLAT examination is conducted through National Law University on a rotation basis.
In May, the CLAT examination will be conducted.

Law Admission
Applicants will get admission to various law programs based on their eligibility criteria, and the eligible candidates can fill out the application form from the 1st week of January through online mode.
Till the last week of March, the application form will be available. Applicants should have the eligibility criteria such as
- For UG Courses, students must qualify for the 10+2 or equivalent examination & score at least 45% marks (40% marks in the case of the SC/ST category).
- For PG Courses, students must complete the LLB or equivalent examination & obtain a minimum of 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST category).
- Appearing candidates can also apply.
- There is no upper age limit for appearing in CLAT 2025.
Selection Procedure
Candidates will be called out for counselling if they are shortlisted in the merit list based on their marks in state or national law entrance examinations. Some candidates get direct admission based on their marks scored in the 12th examination. There are some of colleges offering admission to candidates based on a first-come, first serve.
