The Directorate of Technical Education and Training, Kerala, conducts Kerala Industrial Technical Institute (ITI) Admission for candidates in ITI certificate programs in various Govt. and private Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) of the state. DGET works under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.

Kerala ITI Eligibility Criteria 2024

All those candidates are going to fill out the Application Form for their aspiring trades; they must check their Eligibility Criteria before filling out the Application Form, and it is mandatory for them to check it. The Eligibility Criteria details are provided below.

Residential Criteria

Candidate should be a resident of Kerala State, and they must have domicile issued by the competent authority.

Age Criteria

The minimum age of the candidates should be 14 years of age at the time of application/ admission. There will be no upper age limit.

Educational Qualification

• The applicants should be qualified in at least the SSLC/ Class 10th examination for admission to Matric Trades.
• They should have failed at least in the SSLC/ Class 10th examination for admission to Non-Matric Trades.
• Those applicants who fail in the private mode of study in class X/SSLC will not be eligible for admission under the Craftsman Training Scheme.
• They should have a minimum in Pre-Degree for Computer and DTP courses.

Kerala ITI Application Form 2024

Based on eligibility Criteria, candidates can fill out the Application Form for their aspiring trades and on the 16th of June, the Application Form will be available till the last week of June. Candidates need to fill out the Application Form with all the correct and complete details, and they should have to submit it before the last date of submission.

The applicants should have made the payment of the application fee at the time of submitting the Application Form. Candidates should have to take the printout of the Application Form for future use.
