KCET 2024 Counselling
The KCET counselling procedure has been started on 25th June through the authority of the applicants and it will be conducted after the result and merit list declaration. Those applicants will score qualified marks in the examination, and if they are shortlisted in the merit list, they will be called out for the counselling procedure.
The applicants must have to visit the counselling centre on the schedule, and they also have to carry the required documents for verification at the counselling centre. The seat will be allotted to the candidates at the time of the counselling procedure based on the marks of candidates and their filling of choices.

Counselling Procedure for KCET 2024:
The counselling process for KCET 2024 will be conducted online and offline by the Karnataka Examinations Authority. At the counselling session, the qualified candidates must complete their document verification, followed by the registration, option entry, and seat allotment process to get admission. The candidates will be called as per their rank in the merit list and preference of course and college chosen by them.
Document Verification and Registration:
The qualified candidates have to report to the counselling centre for the document verification process. After the verification of documents, a verification slip will be issued to the candidate, after which he/she can participate in the option entry round.
Choice Filling and Locking:
After document verification, the next step is to fill in and lock in the choice of colleges and courses. If candidates have online counselling they will have to log in by entering the CET number. The examination authority will upload the category-wise, course-wise and college-wise seat matrix and a link to the same will be shared with the candidates.
Seat Allotment:
The seat allotment is the last step in the counselling process. The candidates will get a notification regarding seat allotment at the official website. The candidates have to report to the allotted college within a specified period.
The seat will be allotted based on the Merit or rank of the candidates obtained in KCET, the Choice preferences of the college, courses filled by the candidates, and the availability of seats. The candidates must download the call letter of the allotted seat from the official website.
The qualified and selected candidates have to report at the allotted college along with the required documents and fees. The admission will only be confirmed after the payment of fees is done.
