KCET 2022 2nd Round Choice Filling has been Started on 17th November 2022. 1st Round Option Entry has been Started on 14th October 2022. Online Counseling has been Started on 22nd August 2022. The result has been Declared on 30th July 2022. The Karnataka Common Entrance Test is shortened by the KCET. The KEA is the official conducting body that organizes the KCET entrance exam every year. The KEA is commonly known as the Karnataka Examinations Authority. The KCET is conducted by the authorities every year with the aim to provide admission to eligible applicants in different courses.

The KCET 2022 will be held with an aim to provide admission to deserving applicants in different courses offered in the field of engineering, architecture, pharmacy, and farm science courses. KCET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality: To apply for the Government seats, only Indian citizens are eligible.
• Age limit: The applicants must be above the age of 17 years.
• Domicile: The applicants should belong to the Karnataka state in order to get admission in the institution
• Educational Qualification: HSC Exams with 10 + 2 system of education or diploma in a relevant field must have been passed by the applicant from a recognized state board of education
• Minimum Marks: The applicants must have secured not less than 45 % marks in the qualifying exam (40 % marks for reserved category applicants)
• Stream: In the Science stream, the intermediate exam must have been completed by the applicants.
• Mandatory subjects: One should have Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, and English and mandatory subjects in the qualifying exam.

KCET 2022 Exam Pattern

The basic information about the KCET 2022 Exam Pattern such as the mode, language, duration, question type, and many more areas given below in this section for the reference of the applicants.

• Mode of the Exam: OMR Based entrance exam will be held
• Duration of the exam: 320 minutes will be given to the applicants to solve the entrance exam (80 minutes for each subject)
• Number of sessions: Four sessions will be held in the exam
• Number of questions: 240 questions will be asked in the entrance exam (60 questions for each session)
• Total marks: Question paper carried a total of 240 marks in the entrance exam
• Type of question: Objective type MCQs (Multiple Choice questions) will be asked in the entrance exam
• Marking scheme: Each correct answer will be awarded one marks.
• Negative markings: In the entrance exam there are no negative markings.
• Subjects: The entrance exam will consist of four subjects – Biology, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics.

KCET 2022 Exam Syllabus

KCET 2022 Admit Card
