JKCET 2024 Provisional Merit List has been released on 27th June 2024. The JKBPEE is popularly known as the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination, which is established as the Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test (JKCET) for candidates to offer various professional undergraduate courses in the field of engineering and medical courses.

The JKCET 2024 Result has been Declared on 24th June 2024, and those candidates who have taken the examination of JKCET can check their results online. The candidates can go for the following admission procedure as per the result.

The results of candidates will indicate the eligibility of the candidate to get admission to the JKBPEE. The candidates can request for re-totalling of marks after the declaration of the result through the website of JKBPEE.

Procedure to Download JKCET Result

The participating candidates can check the procedure to download the result of JKCET, which is given below.

• Firstly, candidates must visit the official website of the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination.
• They have to log in to that site to check the result.
• The aspirants can successfully log in by entering these details, such as the application number, password or date of birth, and security code.
• Candidates must click on the merit list option, which will display on the screen.
• They can download the result and take the printout.
• The candidates have to keep the printout for future use safely.

Revaluation of JKCET Result

There is no chance to reevaluate the JKCET Result because the answer sheet of the candidates is counted by using the machine system. Still, sometimes it can be possible for applicants to apply for the re-totalling of the marks by paying nominal charges of Rs. 1000/-. Before getting this option, candidates should recheck the carbonless copy of the OMR sheets.

Candidates have to calculate their answers with the JKCET answer keys released by JKBPOEE; after calculating, when candidates have doubts, they have to go with the totalling option. Candidates must write the application for the totalling service and a nominal payment of Rs.1000/- at the BOPEE POS terminal in Srinagar/ Jammu.

When JKBPOEE has received and accepted the application within three days of the declaration of the result, the total work will be processed. The following are the criteria mentioned below for candidates to give for totalling.

Questions deemed incorrect or with more options like five choices to select from, or there is any significant printing error, such questions will not be entertained for Revaluation. But if a question has two legitimate answers, students giving any correct answer will be awarded marks.

JKCET 2024 Merit List

JKCET 2024 Merit List has been released on 24th June 2024. The JKBPEE will Declare the merit on their official website for candidates, and those candidates who have taken the examination of JKCET can check their merit list.

The merit list will be prepared based on the candidates’ performance in the entrance examination. After selecting from the merit list, candidates will go for the counselling round and through this round, candidates will get admission to the JKBPEE.

JKCET Breaking Tie Marks

The candidates can become part of breaking tie marks if two or more candidates get equal marks, and there is the following condition for that case.

• Those candidates will obtain higher marks in Chemistry in CET if total marks are equal in Biology and Math.
• Applicants are getting higher marks in Bio/Math in CET
• Those candidates will be older and be given preference if the above points are equal.

JKCET 2024 Counseling

Only those candidates can attend the Counseling Procedure, which will be shortlisted in the merit list.

Candidates should have to bring all the documents which are necessary to bring to the counselling centre. All of the selected candidates have to come necessarily to the counselling centre. Candidates who cannot come will not be admitted to the JKBPEE.

Required documents to carry for JKCET counselling

The candidates must carry the required documents at the counselling centre for verification to get admission to JKBPEE. The required documents are mentioned below

• JKCET 2024 admit card
• Qualifying marks certificate (Mark sheet of class 12)
• State Subject Certificate (PRC)
• Date of a birth certificate issued by the concerned Board
• Reserved category certificate, issued by Competent authority (if applicable)
• Tuition fee waiver certificate issued by the competent authority (if applicable)
• Confirmation page of the online application form

JKCET Counseling Fee

• The selected applicants can claim that if they are disqualified from the counselling, they will get a refund of Rs. 500/-.
• If the candidate cannot attend the counselling for any reason, then no fee refund will be entertained.
• Withdrawal of counselling is allowed from the first round only. A list of colleges and the courses offered in each college are given in the table below.
