The JKBOPEE is commonly known as the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations. • Nationality: Indian national applicants are eligible to apply for the entrance exam.
• Age limit: To apply for the entrance exam, the applicants should be more than 17 years of age as of 31^st December 2022.
• Domicile: The applicants who are local or permanent residents of Jammu and Kashmir state are eligible to get admission in the institution.
• Educational Qualification: The applicants who have completed their intermediate exam or Class 12^th exams with a 10 + 2 system of education from a recognized state board are eligible to apply for the entrance exam.
• Minimum Marks: The general category applicants should score more than 50 % marks in the qualifying exam and that of reserved category applicants should secure a minimum of 40 % marks or more in the qualifying exam.
• Stream: The applicants must have completed their education in the science stream to apply for the entrance exam.
• Mandatory subjects: The applicants should have completed the qualifying exam with mandatory subjects such as physics, chemistry, and mathematics along with English subjects.
• Appearing applicants: The applicants who are appearing for the final exam of the HSC are also eligible to apply for the entrance exam.

JKCET 2022 Exam Pattern

The applicants who want to apply for the entrance exam can go through the details that we have provided below in this section regarding the JKCET 2022 Exam Pattern such as the exam mode, exam duration, exam language, total marks, total questions, marking scheme, negative markings and many more.

• Mode of Exam: In offline mode, the applicants will have to appear for the entrance exam in the written test as pen and paper-based.
• Duration of Exam: The applicants will have to appear for the entrance exam in 2 – hours duration for PCM and PCB, 1 hour each for PCB and PCM.
• Language of Exam: The applicants must appear for the entrance exam in the English language only.
• Total Number of Questions: The applicants will get 120 questions in total in both PCM and PCB question paper (60 questions each in PCB and PCM question papers respectively)
• Total Marks: The applicants will have to appear a 120 marks question paper (60 marks for each PCB and PCM subjects)
• Type of Questions: Objective type multiple choice questions will be asked in the question paper of the entrance exam.
• Marking Scheme: Each correct answer given in the entrance exam will be awarded 1 mark.
• Negative Marking: Each wrong answer given in the entrance exam will deduct 25 marks in total.
• Stream: The entrance exam will be conducted in 3 streams as stream A, Stream B, Stream C

JKCET 2022 Exam Syllabus

The official authorities have not yet disclosed the entire details about the JKCET 2022 Exam Syllabus for the preparation of the entrance exam.
