JK Polytechnic Eligibility

Those applicants who have applied for the Jammu and Kashmir Polytechnic Entrance Test; must check their eligibility criteria before filling out the application form and the eligibility criteria details as mentioned below.

• Applicants should be permanent residents of J&K State to apply for the J&K PET 2023 examination.
• Students must be qualified in the Secondary School Examination (Matriculation or equivalent examination) from a recognized statutory Board.
• The candidates appearing/appearing in the 10th class examination can also apply for the Entrance Test.
• Students must have to obtain a minimum of 40% marks in the 10th class. In case of being an open merit candidate and at least 37% marks in case of being a reserved category.
• Aspirants should be passed in Science and Math subjects in the 10th class examination at the time of counseling and secure a percentage of marks.
