JIPMER PG 2024 January Session Exam will be held on 5th November 2023 for INI CET Exam. Jawaharlal Institute of Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) has managed the JIPMER PG Entrance Examination for candidates and every year many of applicants may apply for this exam to get admission into postgraduate medical courses.
There are two sessions of the JIPMER entrance examination, so candidates can go for another session if one session is missed by them. There are various medical courses available for candidates and they can apply online mode by filling the application form of JIPMER PG from the official website of JIPMER.

JIPMER PG Exam Pattern 2024
The applicants can understand the complete structure of the question paper with the help of exam pattern and all questions will be taken from the syllabus.
The exam pattern consists of the number of questions, mode, duration, marking scheme, and distribution of questions for candidates.

Mode of Exam
The examination of JIPMER PG will be through online mode, which is also known as computer-based examination. There is no other mode is available for candidates to give the examination.
The complete duration of the examination of JIPMER PG is a maximum of 3 hours and candidates have to write the answers of questions within these hours.
Admit card
All of the candidates necessarily bring the admit card at the examination center in which the date, address, time of entrance examination will be mentioned. Those candidates will not bring the admit card, they will not be allowed to enter in the examination hall.
Distribution of questions
There is the distribution of questions for candidates in the question paper and it will contain 100 questions from Basic Clinical Sciences and 150 questions from Clinical Sciences subjects.
Marking Scheme
When every answer will be correct, then candidates will get 4 marks and if any answer will be incorrect, the one mark will be deducted. There will not be any negative marking for unanswered questions.
Exam Centers
There are 10 JIPMER PG exam centers is available for candidates and the entrance test will be conducted at these exam centers.

The JIPMER PG Syllabus consists of the topics from Basic Clinical and Clinical Sciences subjects. The candidates have to be preparing for the examination with the help of exam pattern and syllabus and on the basis of subjects covered in MBBS programs; the syllabus of JIPMER PG is available for candidates.
