Documents Required For JEE Main 2025 Application Form

Candidates are advised to be ready with all of these documents. So that JEE Main 2025 Application Form could be filled out on time. The candidates will need some for reference, and others must be uploaded. In contrast, these documents will be needed during counselling for verification purposes.

• Marksheets of classes 10 and 12
• AADHAR card
• Passport size photograph
• Signature of both the candidate and the guardian
• Caste Certificate( if applicable)
• Income Statement
• Category Statement (if applicable)

Important Instruction for Candidates

Information regarding the applications of candidates received with fees will be put on the NTA’s website on 17.12.2020 along with their Roll Nos, Centres, Date, and Shift of Examination. The candidate’s candidature whose fees have not been received up to the prescribed last date will not be considered for the examination.

In case the particulars of the candidate are not shown in the final list of candidates on the NTA’s website in December 2020 and the candidate has paid the fee, the candidate should approach the Help Line between 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. the following documents for considering his/her candidature for the examination:

• Proof of fee paid (Photocopy of transaction slip of fees paid through Debit/ Credit Card and Net Banking). If the fee has not been remitted within the prescribed last date, the application will be treated as incomplete/unsuccessful and shall not be considered.
• Print out the Confirmation Page.
• The NTA would entertain no request regarding non-receipt of the Online Application Form after 1st week of December.
• Candidates are advised to visit the NTA’s website regularly for the latest updates.
• Candidates should check their e-mails on the given e-mail address and SMS in their Mobile No. For the latest updates and information.

How to Apply for the JEE Main 2025 Application Form?

To apply for the JEE Main 2025 application form, candidates must follow a series of steps including registration, filling out personal and academic details, uploading required documents, and paying the examination fee. Ensuring accurate and timely completion of these steps is crucial for successful submission and participation in the exam.

Step 1: Registration Process

Candidates must choose one of the following methods to register for JEE (Main):

• Log in/create a Digi Locker account through the NAD portal.
• Log in/create an Academic Bank of Credits ID (ABC ID).
• Log in using an Indian Passport Number.
• Log in using a Non-Indian Passport Number.
• Log in using a PAN Card Number.
• Log in using an Aadhaar Enrollment Number.

Additional Instructions:

i. Candidates are advised to register through Digi Locker or ABC ID. ii. Those who do not use Digi Locker or ABC ID must report to the examination centre one hour before the entry time on the day of the exam.

Authentication Options at the Examination Centre:

• Authenticate using an Aadhaar Card
• Authenticate using a Valid Government ID with a Photograph

Step 2: Application Form

Candidates can log in using their system-generated Application Number and pre-created Password, or through their Digi Locker ID/ABC ID and password, to complete the Application Form. This includes:

• Filling in personal details
• Applying for the Paper
• Selecting Examination Cities
• Providing details of Educational Qualifications
• Uploading images and documents (if required)

Upload Scanned Images of the Candidate’s Photograph, Signature, and PwD Certificate/UDID Card (Swawlamban Card) (if applicable):

• Photograph: The recent photograph should be either in colour or black & white, with 80% of the face visible (without a mask) including ears, set against a white background.
• Format: Both the scanned photograph and signature should be in JPG/JPEG format and legible.
• Photograph Size: The scanned photograph should be between 10 KB and 200 KB.
• Signature Size: The scanned signature should be between 4 KB and 30 KB.
• PwD Certificate Size: The scanned copy of the PwD certificate should be in PDF format, between 50 KB and 300 KB.

Note:

• Upload Personal Documents Only: Candidates must upload only their photograph, signature, and certificate(s) as specified. The correction facility may not be available in the future.
• Consequences of Misuse: If it is discovered at any time that a candidate has used or uploaded someone else’s photograph, signature, or certificate(s), or has tampered with their Admit Card, Result, or Scorecard, such actions will be considered Unfair Means (UFM) Practices. Actions will be taken as per the provisions detailed in the Information Bulletin related to Unfair Means Practices.
• Verification: Before submitting the Application Form, ensure that your photograph and signature are clear and identifiable. Applications with blurred or unreadable photographs or signatures will be rejected, and no option for correction or revision will be provided.

Step 3: Fee Payment

After completing Step 1 and Step 2, candidates must pay the required examination fee.

• Payment Methods: The fee can be paid online via Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, or UPI.
• Additional Charges: Processing charges and GST, as applicable, will be added to the examination fee by the concerned bank.
• Confirmation Page: The Confirmation Page of the online Application Form will be generated only after successful payment. If the Confirmation Page is not generated, candidates should contact the concerned bank using the helpline number and email provided in the Information Bulletin to ensure the payment was successful or to request a refund for duplicate/multiple payments.
