JEE Main 2025 Application Form Correction
The option for correcting details in the JEE Main 2025 application correction will be accessible to candidates starting from the second week of December 2024 for the January session, with separate opportunities provided for subsequent sessions. Candidates will have the ability to rectify errors exclusively through the online mode, as no other methods will be accepted for editing incorrect details.
The correction process will be activated after the conclusion of the application period and will be available for a limited duration. Additionally, the authority will offer a separate opportunity for image correction following the general correction process. Candidates must ensure that they make the necessary edits to their details within the specified timeframe.
JEE Main 2025 Eligibility Criteria
The JEE Main 2025 eligibility criteria include passing the 12th examination with specific subject combinations for various courses like B.E/B.Tech, B.Arch, and B.Plan. Additionally, candidates must meet the minimum academic requirements, such as obtaining at least 75% marks in the 12th exam (65% for ST/SC) or being in the top 20 percentile in the 12th exams conducted by respective boards, for admission through CSAB counselling.
General Eligibility
- Nationality Requirement: Indian nationals are eligible to apply. International applicants must have obtained the required marks as specified by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
- Qualification Criteria: Candidates must have passed the 12th-level examination in the years 2023, 2024, or 2025. Those who passed the 12th level examination in 2022 or earlier are not eligible to apply for JEE Main 2025.
- Age Limit: There is no age limit to appear for the JEE Main exam.
- Attempt Limit: There is no limit on the number of attempts to apply for the JEE Main examination.
- Appearing Candidates: Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination in the year 2025 are also eligible to apply.
State Code of Eligibility for JEE Main:
- Independent of Native Place: The state code of eligibility is not determined by the candidate’s native place or residence.
- Selection Criteria: Candidates must choose the state code of eligibility based on the state where they have qualified for their intermediate (12th level) exams.
- For Indian Nationals Abroad: Indian nationals who have passed their 12th-level exams in foreign countries must select their state code of eligibility according to the permanent address mentioned in their passports.

JEE Main 2025 Answer Key
Candidates will have the opportunity to download the JEE Main 2025 Answer Key exclusively through online mode, with no alternative methods accepted. The answer key will be provided in PDF format. By utilizing the answer key, candidates can estimate their scores even before the official result declaration.
Following each exam session, various coaching institutes will release their institutional answer keys. Subsequently, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will publish the provisional answer key for the respective session. During this period, candidates will have the opportunity to raise objections within a specified timeframe by paying a fee of Rs. 200/- per question. Once the objection period concludes, the final answer key will be released by the NTA.
JEE Main 2025 Result
To access the JEE Main 2025 Result, candidates should regularly monitor the official website. The result will be published based on the final answer key. Candidates can download their results through online mode using their login credentials, which include the application number and password.
The JEE Main 2025 Result will be released individually for each session, with the first session result expected in the second week of February 2025 and the second session result in the third week of April 2025.
