Indian Institute Of Technology (IIT) Bhilai is a stand-alone institute that was created in 2016 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development. The university began at the temporary campus that is hosted by Government Engineering College Raipur. The institute is provided with 470-acre land for establishing a permanent campus of IIT Bhilai. IIT Bhilai is mentored through IIT Hyderabad. IIT Bhilai provides you with Bachelor of Technology (BTech), Master of Technology (M.Tech), and Doctoral programs (Ph.D.) in several departments.

The Institute made its modest start off with the introduction of the B.Tech program in August 2016. The Institute is currently offering B.Tech and M.Tech programs in departments of Computer Science and technology. Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering and Ph.D. program in the departments of Chemistry, Computer Science, and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, and Physics.

IIT Bhilai Admission 2025 Application Form has been Released for Various Courses. Download the application form and fill it up with attention. Send the completely full Application Form through an email to the following two different IDs independently for M.Tech and Ph.D. courses i.e.

IIT Bhilai 2025 Admissions Process

IIT Bhilai offers B.Tech in three specialities. The minimum eligibility for M.Tech is candidates must have gone through 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as compulsory subjects with a total of 75% marks from a recognized board. IIT Bhilai offers M.Tech in 3 specializations and a Ph.D. course in six areas. The minimum eligibility is just a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Science/ Engineering/ Technology or equivalent degree along with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST nominees) with a valid GATE score. Admission to M.Tech/ Ph.D. course is being given on the basis of a written test followed by the interview conducted by the institute separately for its three divisions The institute is conducting a written test individually for each department and interview round. The score of the written test and interview round are calculated to prepare the final merit list.

• Candidates who have a degree from any foreign university are required to submit and equivalency certificate from the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi and to submit proof of having first-class or 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates) in the qualification exam.
• All candidates must submit a self-attested copy of degree certificate/final records on or before September 01, failing which may result in the cancellation of nomination.
• Selected candidates will be given admission per the instructions of the parent institute i.e. IIT Hyderabad.
• Admission to IIT Bhilai is awarded to candidates who have been qualified for the Joint Entrance Exam (Advanced).
• After the merit score and counseling session, the students selected for your undergraduate program.
• The selection is done depending on your minimum JEE (Advanced) cut-off.
• Admissions are being conducted through a centralized admission process by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA).
• Marquee to B.Tech program is done on the basis of JEE (Advanced).
• Candidates with the Bachelor’s/ Master’s or equivalent degree in Science/ Technology/ Engineering with the first-class or minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST candidates) marks from a known University along with a valid GATE score can apply for admission to M.Tech or Ph.D. program.
• Admission is given on the grounds of the candidates’ performance in the written test and interview conducted by the institute.
• Written test and interview round is being performed separately for each department of M.Tech and Ph.D. program.
